Is it possible to drag, or export midi files from a Dr Octorex, or a player, to the sequencer?

No. Rack VST doesn't output MIDI yet.

Of course it was a joke.

And if one could only create one NN19 String patch per song, routed via Audiomatic and tens of other effects, then that would not make any kind of sense, that's why I was sarcastic. Haha, the Props developing a Rack VST to only let you create one channel per song....

You could export it from the Reason sequencer then import it into the host DAW

Sure, in full Reason (DAW proper) you can do this. But I think the question was about Reason Plugin...

Sure, in full Reason (DAW proper) you can do this. But I think the question was about Reason Plugin...

can we save a song in the plugin rack and load it into the Reason DAW ?

Looks like the incoming channel strips had some additions. Wet/dry knobs for the comp and dynamics!

So, between CV in the back, the wet/dry knobs on the comp and dynamics, output gain for the EQ, these are turning out to be something I'd use a great deal even in Reason DAW proper. Also, there was formerly no input gain for the bus compressor, so this is another cool added feature.

Huge grey shadows over the tiny dark / light grey text, in a non re-scalable rack... arg...

Re-scalable VST versions will be what people will really be interested in... well for those DAWs that don't have a good effects suite anyway.
