I definitely prefer the Oberheims with discrete filter components. Especially the Matrix synths sound a tad cold, compared to the SEM based synths. Still good sound, but, not quite as good IMO.

That sound character is ideal for brass pads, though. They sound funky and tight

bit of a weird one for me.
im not used to people, anybody at all, using my real, given name*, unless im about to be in trouble or be told bad news.

but for some reason, now, every family member and the friends who know it, are using it all the f**king time! so its kind of putting me on edge.
