I'm just gonna throw this out there because you're a smart dude...why not spend some time building some of those fx, the aforementioned guitarpcb.com is very helpful...mammoth electronics sells their kits painted enclosures very cheap as well), there is General Guitar Gadgets and byoc (build you own clone)...plus a lot more...byoc as well as guitarpcb have forums and tons of help not to mention our diy forum here. Kill three birds with one stone, get some great fx, save a lot of money and learn a ton of new skills.woolyloach wrote:Meh.. Populating a circuit board is simple once you get started, anything that you have to worry about getting too much heat are mostly using sockets so there is no risk for damage and besides that it's something an 8 year old can do (I know I was 8 when I built a multi-meter kit)
