different opinions here. I dont like the modwheel being jump-resettet when you touch it. Like I said, for static and fixed modulations, the Macros are made for (or even better: the Macro BUTTONS). This is a feature request, which will not be considered, I can tell you this already, sorry.
Please add possibility to modulate gain in routing section with mod matrix
we will consider this, if its easy to implement, we will do. Hurts nobody... if someone really needs to do this, why not
Any chances that SFZ would be possible to import in the future?
we will check this possibility, too
Hi msvs, thanks, I know it was only my opinion, did not mean it as a request, I'll use Macro Button, as you kindly suggest, or more Macro knobs when they'll come, would be nice to have it as a "+" (add Macro).

Very fascinating to program in Avenger, gives me such freedom to new, unexpected creative ideas, to easily make things that would be very annoying to do in other synths (opinion again...). Thank you for making it possible.

Cheers, Matteo

Thx Manuel,
With sfz it would make avenger my ultimate workstation workhorse.
I use tx16 sampler for it now, but it lacks effects.
There are so many sfz available for use.
Avenger is almost a dream come true.
My sounddesign: Synth1/Ex5/D-50 patches https://goo.gl/zE3pkk
My stuff: W10x64i7 15" laptop, Reaper/Cantabile3+Synth1+Avenger on stage+NordStage2+Samson Graphite 49

Yeah either this, or the addition of host automation for FX parameters feels pretty necessary to me. I made a comment about this eariler in the thread but nobody chimed in to agree or disagree so maybe it's just me that thinks this is important. FX parameters are not visible to the host for automation so if you want to want to automate them you need to assign them to a macro. When I'm working in Live it's no big deal since I can just make 8 more macros, but when I'm in Cubase it's pretty burdensome to tie up one of three macros with something like a wet/dry knob on an insert.

Agree. I use both DAW too, but this is not important, it's just that 3 macros cannot support all the needs one may have in a track.
Avenger sounds amazing, IMHO really deserve to become a major producing environment, say like Omnisphere or Kontakt.
I wish it the best, growing and becoming a giant!

I've tested the Demo. While this is a real interesting powerhouse, I absolutely dislike the UI. I don't know, it looks cheap. I don't like the preset section always being visible to the left, waste of space. Very much feels like if they had better UI designers, the product would be stellar. I won't mention Serum now ;) Or Sugar Bytes Factory, which looks so elegant. Avenger looks... cheap... in a way. I know it's maybe wrong, but this is a factor for me.

I agree about the preset section. But everything else is subject to personal taste. I hate the look of Serum, don't like the colours of Avenger too much, but apart from the preset section I love the design. No designer ever will match everybodys taste so I guess you will always have to like things as they are or find something else that suits you better. In my case functions and workflow mean a lot more than design. The only plugins I really dislike and won't buy or use because of design is the Melda stuff. But that's still a personal opinion.

I would really love this synth due to the wonderful modulation sources if there wouldn't be still tons of annoying cpu spikes and it often hangs for a few seconds if i drop and drag modulations etc.
Support doesn't answered after a week (maybe my e-mail don't got trough) about questions to sell it.
I decided to try to wait until version 1.1. if things get solved. Mixed feelings but i still appreciate it that the developer is here and try to solve things.

For what it's worth, +1 on the GUI 'issues'.

Compared to Serum (for example), the GUI in Avenger, although functionally very good, just doesn't match up.

Words for Serum ...
Slick, crisp, clear, professional, polished

Words for Avenger....
Rough, blurry, amateurish, unfinished

I love the synth ... just wish the GUI matched the quality of the rest of it. Please keep working at the GUI ... a re-design, re-skin would reallty take it to the next level :D

Let's not forget this tease on October 22nd 2016 :) Nice and clean, allthough a bit on the bright side. Staring at this white screen for hours might kill your eyes. I really like the content section a lot better, smaller fontsize and much better viewability.

I think the GUI "looks" good but I'd really love to have some more functionality and visible area for the mod matrix.

In more complex patches it's a real pain to find the exact modulation slot you want to edit. I'd rather have sacrificed some hidden AMP and Filter sections, or at least have it as an option to hide those so that the mod matrix could fill the whole height of the right side.

Sadly the latest version is even the worst from all yet for me.
I have so much CPU jumps from 20% to over 200%. GUI open or not....doesn´t matter.
It´s simple BROKEN!
It´s still unusable for me on a i7 quadcore macbook pro
This should be removed for macOS AND BACK TO BETA :D

I cannot say if the latest version is worse than before, but I also have ridiculous cpu spikes even on single voice presets. Yes, sometimes its playing 24 voices, but also this shouldn't be a problem on an overclocked Core i7 4770 cpu... Never seen such a cpu usage like this before, even not heavy analog emulations like u-he stuff. Also have a look onto FM8 or Melda MPowerSynth: Those are also alias free, but use only a fraction of your cpu usage.

You _really_ need to highly optimize your code at some point. And throw away any protection in live critical code (just a bad assumption :P )

I am quite ok with the current state of the plugin, but of course I would wish to use this brilliant synth as a working horse.

BTW. the OS I am talking about is a OSX 10.9.4.

a quick work in progress snapshot from Satya
as you can see, some knobs are still missing, and many many minor things still to fix

+ there is another (a 3rd) skin in development (Phalanx Design)
all skins will be free and come during 2017
