I sure hope so. They're still working on it. It could be late before it is ready. We had a little set back earlier today with the servers and then the zips with the html file thing... been working double shifts for the past 3 weeks now. Then NAMM! A glutton for punishment. But we're cranking for this final haul.duojet wrote:are we still getting phase3 today?
Squidimidi had to be redone though to the new hi hat rules requested (and I agreed to) in this thread. So that will be delivered after I get back from NAMM but I will do more than expected anyway for that. The Hybrid Kits, Impulses, 4 MT Kits, EZ Player Pro are all moving forward into that final phase here... I will keep you posted but it won't be at least for another 3-4 hours if anyone is waiting around. You might want to just check tomorrow at this point... unless you want to see if you can download over night.

I may include more convolution impulses for you guys than originally planned. There are some cool ones.

I'm very pleased to hear that!Squids wrote:I may include more convolution impulses for you guys than originally planned. There are some cool ones.
I have been building and modifying instruments in Kontakt using Convolution, and every time I do it I find myself excitedly thinking about the IRs you've got up your sleeve. I am expecting them to become my go-to IRs from now on.

Squids,
Will these IRs (convolutions) match the room sounds in the kits from this group buy or, are they from other rooms? Maybe a little of both?
Are there any room convolutions from the original Drum Masters kits included? It would be sweet to be able to put some of those dry OWD kits into some of the great rooms (like the NDV kits) from the original Drum Masters
Just wishing out loud. Thanks for all the hard work (EVERYONE over there at SR and esoundz) and....thanks for makin' these magical sounds for us
Peace,
R

Because you all are so cool I'm going to include 50 IRs instead of 25. So double just for your kindness and patience.
Yes, there's a little of both. I actually can't use the studio names as it turns out. But some are hinted at in the name at least so you can use your imagination. Some are of expensive digital reverbs and some are real echo chambers and some are gate reverb type effects. There's such an unusual variety in there. The ones that were done with NDV are from the Gretsch and Premier sessions but the rooms don't sound EXACTLY the same as actual rooms in the sample. But they have a little of that brick wall live room flavor to them. You kind of have to mess with them to make them sound exactly the way you want in Kontakt. You just put the raw folder of impulse waves into your Infinite Player folder and can either drag and drop them into the convolution window or you can scroll through them in a preset already made with one. They're fun to experiment with for different sounds.

Wow, I don't check this thread for most of the day and when I do I find Squids adding on more stuff at no cost. Not that it's surprising at this point -- but it's still very nice to see. I'm now at the point where I think I'm going to make some additional SR purchases out of guilt. Okay, I'll fess up, out of guilt PLUS gear lust (AKA GAS, but I don't really like walking around telling people I have serious GAS; it tends to keep them away).

As a side note, it may be a good idea for future promos to include a "Date Added" to the files in the download section, in addition to Name, Format, Size. That way it's easy to notice any new content vs. previously downloaded one.
And thanks again Squids for being so generous. For me it's been a great way to start the year!

The answer is the same: email support or directly to allen:
