probably not hard to figure out what happened.
he set himself with a 2 gig library and user manual and extensive updates, all to do in a week.
and i bet the updates led to other updates and fixes and probably new features kept occuring to him in the process so the whole expansion grew exponentially, along with the debugging, and as he expands the program that expands the documentation as well.
kinda reminds me of me in my 20s and 30s when id be up all night doin charts for a gig on an atari st/cubase fighting with the laser printer and dumping toner all over the room.
since then ive adopted the scotty principle, if its gonna take an hour say its gonna take 3 and then you look like a hero when you get it done in 2.
in the meantime i've gotten my money out of it and i know it somewhat well, tho i use it in a very specific way, so maybe i can answer some questions you have?

Let's hope for the best. However I'm getting a little annoyed. It's been almost two month since the release and we're still waiting for the promised sample pack and some kind of documentation. Not mentioning the later announced LE version and bug fixes.
The expectations were set and the money got paid. Now it's about time to deliver
Denis, please give us some info.

Dennis is reliable
in long-term-distances, think about the Plug-for-Life-deal and the long silence inbetween but we still get those new things for free.
But I guess, he has too much ideas, too much enthusiasm to include all of them, not enough time and he might even be too young to get a bit more seriousness in his business.
Maybe his genius will someday get hired by a bigger company (hey, he could further develop Tracktion...
) or maybe there is someone to team up with him to ensure a relieable business-scheme, as most of his excellent develoments seem to get stuck in some stage of final development and then washed aside by new ideas and plugs...

Oh, and here's the FAQ for Livemachine (v1.1) (which will be filled with new Q's and A's as time goes on)
(I think it is also somehow useful for current 1.0 version)

well that certainly is damn cool!Q: What is the maximum recording time for the recording channels?
A: 16 Bars or 64 Beats. (Around 30 Seconds). Recording will stop automatically when the limit
has been reached.
glad to see youre ok, and congratulations on all that.

Sorry, if I came across a little bit pushy, but I had a few issues with small companies in the past, when suddenly development stopped. I was just a little suspicious
Anyway, I'm glad you're up and alive and that Livemachine gets further improved.
Cheers,

dude thats so sexist, girls can program too.
its just that you end up with a lot of pink in the gui and a lot of hello kitty logos on the knobs.
and theres always that time of the month when all the plugin gives you is error messages.
and before you can turn the plugin on you have to buy it dinner...

Still only 4 Bars, but that's top-priority on my todo list nowTony Ostinato wrote:do the wav-players support up to 16 bar loops also now?Q: What is the maximum recording time for the recording channels?
