Yes, it's easy to say... BTW as you can imagine:

1st it's a massive job to work as a beta tester for such a massive synth. So a lot of bugs have been found and solved, I think the beta group have done a great job and Markus have worked really hard to solve the most important problems and every single bug reported in the beta stage. The problems reported are minus problems very common in a first release.

2nd as you already know, I think, what's happening is very common for a 1.0 release. Someone once said (in another thread) that he avoid to buy 1.0 releases

Well the first release of a software always shows such problems, just like said above there are more users using the software in different ways and with different computer setups, so the unspotted bugs come to the surface. And this is why usually a 1.0 version is shortly followed by an update. Very common, no need to be surprised (this happens at any release).

Obviously easier to say than to find the fm doesn't work properly or the other bugs highlighted so far by people only using the demo for a couple of days

No seriously, I'm sure you did a great job. I'm just messing

But I am suprised it got past quality control and made it to a v1.0 release in it's current form.

Massive crashes in cubase 5.5.2 (32bit, PC) 1.load a patch (for example the first ActionSequence "Heart")..than play around with the filter-env decay and cutoff during pressing a note...stopp playing...close gui..reopen gui...click on the "arrow" for the next patch...crash!!! also it shows not the patch name i had loaded before i closed the gui!!
Has anyone tried this??

...I tried a few times: 1. the crash happens when i use the filter-env-decay and then close and reopen the synth...and click for the next patch
2. but when i just open the synth and do nothing and then clos/reopen it shows me an other patch...but i hear the sound of this i have loaded before..also all adjustments are gone....

If they want us to beta test they might wanna lengthen the demo a bit.

Next Question: when you switch a synth (1-4) off (perhaps you want to put it later with changed parameters to the mix) it switch automatically the same synth on again just when you touch a knob? (for example cutoff)... in the consequence you can't do changes without turning the volume off in this synth...
I don't think that this is a bug but not realy clever...
What did you think?

I can confirm the same behaviour in Sonar 8.5.3 PE 64 Bit.

i have full version and I confirm that issue .
also in windows when is change the preset with program change with external keyboard the gui window preset of ElectraX freeze .
in the mac when is assign a midi learn ElectrX completely crash .
the sounds is very very good but hope in one better relaise .
in any way i am happy to have buyed it , great synth .

This is why I always say when a synth first comes out it should be discounted for early adapters.

I can also see path oddities. At times, the interface seems to change banks, which makes trying to get a patch in that bank give out an errormessage. It's solvable by setting the bank again. I also had some odd inter-instance patch selection issues, but I'm not willing to try to reproduce it at this time, as I'm going to my mother's for roast of lamb.

I tried it on my Cubase 5.1--it does not do the weird patch thing but the open/close GUI--oh boy does it crash it...
