Those crazy guys...
I know, it's just sad at this point.

My latest track is filled with some Iris experiments if you're looking for more examples of this synth in action. Basically anything in the track that's not an obvious synth lead or bass, a rhodes, or a drum track is something being run through Iris.

Here are three (very quiet) tracks I made with iZotope Iris (except drums in no.5).
All patches are my own sound design, except no.6, that features a modified one (Spectral Dots) by the Iris subscription collection of Simon Stockhausen.
No.4 features an example of field recording re-processing in Iris.
Hope you enjoy.

Matteo, totally beutiful, what a nice ride to start my day with!

Thank you, Simon :-) (tonight we had a strong Aurora Borealis up here, so...)

I just wanted to add some "sounds" to the Iris thread (as you, ariston and polyslax did), showing the "smooth-ever-evolving-soundscape" face of it.

By the way, are pops and clicks related to cpu/ram stress? I see that if I manage with them (the length of the samples, the complexity of the shapes designed, reverb and delay, can affect it a lot), I can reduce this "issue". So, maybe it's not Iris fault....

Here is a demo for a new subscription patch - Sonar Drops - made from/with processed electric guitar samples split across the keyboard:

@Matteo - I narrowed the clicks and pops-issue down to running Iris in standalone mode. Inside Logic I don't have these issues really when setting Radius to normal quality mode and e.g. 8 samples, but in standalone something seems to be wrong. Also I see that Iris defaults to 44.Khz in standalone mode, usually my system is set to 48 Khz but when booting Iris the settings in my RME are overwritten by Iris (amd in the preferences the is no setting for anything like Sample Rate which is strange). Maybe a Mac issue only?
So while tracking set Radius to normal and when bouncing/rendering (offline) set it to high.

Thanks for the tips, Simon. :-)
It's the same on win7 32bit, in standalone it clicks/pops more.
My default is 44,100 Khz, so I don't get the issue you mention. Maybe iZotope will fix it in next update (hope someone there reads our comments).
Anyway, I work in Radius high mode when possible, then before rendering I freeze Iris tracks and everything is ok, but... it's a strange way to work, isn't it?

Radius is also very clicky and poppy with the VST on a mac.

tested it a bit more, i really want to love it, but it has still some flaws which makes it not professional. hope they will fix the stuff and add some things.

Absolutely beautiful audio demo's Matteo. You and Simon are really showing the great potential of Iris, problem is... it both looks and sounds great and now I have to buy the thing! :)

Buy it now and play with it later that is - my time is dedicated elsewhere atm.

Interesting. I'm on an i7 Macbook pro from last year. But I'm using OSX Lion and Ableton Live 8.3.

I tried radius on all settings with even +/- 2 oct

I also use 48kHz default rate in Win7 64-bit using Saffire Pro14 over Firewire.
Iris definitely forces the Sample rate in standalone to 44.1 KHz and there does not seem to be any way around that.

I tried very hard to change this and the system process trace shows these last few steps in Iris initialization:

Translation: Iris queries the current sample rate (sampling index) ands sees it is 2 (which is 48kHz for me)
Then it sets it to 1 which is 44.1kHz.
