I have Win 7 64 bit A8 processor with 8 Gb RAM and I don't think I'd even attempt 4 instances of Kontakt. I know it will take 3 Omnisphere's before it wheezes...
i'm using buzz x64 and the x64 version of the ni plugins so i doubt i was overloading my ram.
i read about a possible multithreading bug on the fl forum and ni is still investigating.

i'm not installing the latest version just to be sure. :P

thanks for the reply.

Still nothing...

sorry for the ott.

i can confirm there is a vst3 bug somewhere (in my host?),which only occur when loading many instances of vst3,a click on a gui of any plugin did crash buzz.
however this can be investigated without hurry since using vst2 works like a charm.

odd, this only happen when using kontakt... :P

The new piano looks interesting- hope iirs in komplete 9 not just the ultimate version....

Post

I imagine that depends on how well it is selling, but since it just came out, I would not expect it in K9 regular.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

There's always NAMM starting January 24th. Or Musikmesse starting April 10.

Of course, that's if the Mayan calendar is wrong and we live to see December 22!

OK, that's just wrong hibidy, getting a "there's a new response on Komplete 9 thread" email during Winter Namm and then seeing your reply. When I was in the Army one of my roommates would set his alarm for 2AM, just so he could yell out "Hey everyone, it's 0200!" and then go back to sleep.

yeah, where's my lynching torches.... :hihi:

You guys are funny :hihi:

Sorry, I don't think there is going to be a komplete anytime soon. But I saw the verby thread and figured it was time for a bump regardless :D

Komplete 8 is on sale down from $559 to $399, Komplete 8 Ultimate is down from $1099 to $699. Sale ends March 26.

I spekulate Komplete Nein will be released March 27.

The standard edition will have things from 8 Ultimate Edition: Alicia's Keys, some more Scarbee basses, Razor, some more Abbey Road Drummer libraries, Mashine Drum Selection, the Mouth, Vintage Compressors (or just one of the VC series)... plus Session Horns, maybe 1 of the Premium Tubes and 1 of the Reverb Classics, and updates to Reaktor, Kontakt, Battery, Absynth, FM8, Massive and Guitar Rig.

The Ultimate Edition will include everything from K8 ultimate, updates as above and...:
Skanner XT
Abbey Road Vintage Drummer
Evolve
The Giant
Session Horns Pro (which will come out when K9 is released)
Action Strings
Reverb Classics
Premium Tube Series
Scarbee Rickenbacker
Damage
A few more things as yet unidentified (another Reaktor player synth...)

Don't know what they'll retire to make way.

/End spekulation

Edit: oh and there'll be a Virtual Analogue thrown in.
