Thought that I'd break the habits of a lifetime and post some reviews..
Two things to consider tho..
These are all just personal opinions.. I do not consider myself qualified to pass comment on anybody else's work
I have really enjoyed all the entries but my comments have tended towards the critical.. This is only what has struck me as I listened, so you can conclude that otherwise, I enjoyed your submission..
This is as far as I got
Warbug - Bleak Future
I liked the sound Fx but I felt that this took too long to get going.
DuncanParsons - Amoeba Variations
I liked the flute part and the break at 0:51 , but I thought that it deserved better snares and, sorry, but I really didn't like the solo sound.
Ixox - Evil Walk
Not sure about the school concert flutes and I didn't really get much of a sci-fi feel from this, but quirky, none the less.
Jax - Atmosfera
I felt that this was too freeform, the strings grated rather and it was all a bit too brittle without any bottom end (might be my crappy monitors tho) .
Eric Bourne - CometShine
Nice Rythmn, Piano works well, good structure. I felt that this one pressed all the right buttons at the right times.
Sleek Month - Intergalactic eye
Nice drive, cool piano type tones, not so convincing once the sync sweep took over. I thought that the vocals worked, tho.
Sason - DO you want to JAZZ
Shame the mix wasn't a bit more dynamic, but I'm a sucker for vocoders, so luvvin it anyways.
vurt - day of the hyacynth
quite a lot in the two minutes, nice vocal type treatments.
Nuisances Sonores - Wrong System
Good sounds.. is it a theme??? Still, good sounds tho.
Choochcat - Systems Fink
I liked this one, unusual brass sounds and cool little tinkles.
infektedm - SkyTown2
One of my favorites, shades of Kraftwerk's Computer world.. Loved the space around the sounds.
Unicon - Fragments of the Soul
Terrific mix, the use of sound fx was good, I'm not sure there was a theme. Also I wanted the r-r-r-r-rrepeat sounds to sweep to slower repeats, I reckon that would have really lifted the track.
Patrick9 - 24k Astroid miner
Kidney quivering bass, liked the guitars, but is it Sci-fi??.

Terrific atmosphere, very filmic, loved the build.. Vangelis without Vangelis?.
scuzzphut - Against a Dark Background
Me likey, esspecially the bass sweep. Nice air around the drums, You managed to pack a load into two minutes.

Terrific start, very Gameish (as intended, no doubt)Shades of war of the worlds, perhaps. I just wasn't sure about the brass tho.
Col G - Earth3
I felt that it fell a bit flat after the brass intro. Amusing stuff, however.
Second Skin - Alien Intervention
To my ears, the kick was too up-front, I kept waiting for the melody to be brought out.. Nice change at 1:12.

I liked the flute part and the break at 0:51 , but I thought that it deserved better snares and, sorry, but I really didn't like the solo sound.

Woohoo!Congrats to Mike Melvill, Burt Rutan and all the people who worked so hard to get SpaceShipOne to become the first non-governmental manned space vehicle! I can't wait to see more pictures. It looks as if science is getting a little less fictional today.
