kevin brown wrote: Wed Aug 19, 2020 1:30 amTo be honest, I never tried the 'Download All'; I imagine it would take quite awhile, given how much is in there. Not just each synth's .dll, but the SM/FS schematics, hardware manuals, etc. Might be Sync has a limit on the quantity of 'Download All' it will do. I should probably investigate breaking it up into smaller folders.yemski wrote: Tue Aug 18, 2020 12:03 am Have tried to download this all day. On the downloads page, I select download all, it then says calculating size and nothing happens. Do I just manually download each one? Or is this just a temporary glitch? Great looking synths. I would be prepared to contribute to a drive to have user created patches, as a resource here on KVR, time permitting and if others are down with this.

imo
afaic recall
--it's a numbers game hehe
seriously- if you would like to port whichever ones you like I can sort out a copy of Flowstone 64 bit for you
it's a matter of opening the old 32 bit file and to see what is and isn't working
- and then saving a 64 bit version
I can help at all times
edit- if anyone wants x64 bit FS, just pm me and I can link u

Hi, i've been testing VQ800 on 64bit hosts and I've found a massive amount of RAM usage. It's around 800Mb of RAM. It doubles the impact of Presonus Studio One that uses 400Mb itself on load.

I made a new test build of VQ800. Please, download here and let me know how it works for you.wikter wrote: Thu Dec 17, 2020 7:28 am Hi, i've been testing VQ800 on 64bit hosts and I've found a massive amount of RAM usage. It has reduced the memory impact from 800Mb to 300Mb. Now it has a noise burst, enough to stop me testing.

Sorry about that. I'll rebuild once more and let you know if the noise burst error is fixed.

the worst noise burst I have had in FS is from not hopping in a power of 2,
it's possible there is an improper hop in the build somewhere
-- so I would look at either ASM or DSP codeboxes for an error

There's a 2 seconds noise burst every 12 seconds... Is this any kind of demo?retroactivecont wrote: Fri Dec 18, 2020 11:27 pm I made a new test build of VQ800. Please, download here and let me know how it works for you.

gotta ask...
since these are ALL totally freeware, for everyone, couldn't the names of each simply the correct name of the real synth they emulate? why beat around the bush? would the companies after that when they are FREE and don't really accurately clone the original? Or maybe use real name but change one letter or add KB on the end
its weird to figure out what is which, althought the ABOUT page spells it all out
