I have FRMS, Pigments, Polygon 2, Tracktion Novum and Krotos concept.
Every one of these is more feature rich than Quanta but if I'm doing anything granular it's the first (and often only) granular synth I reach for.

if you have Audio Damage Quanta via Plugin Boutique, the upgrade to Quanta 2, is on sale now.
for about €35, i had some virtual cash, so almost 50% from the upgrade price, as before..
of course Quanta 2 itself is also on sale, now.

just got the new v2 update via PB
here are sonme observations/wishlist items i've found so far
(just a little bit of preset surfing...):
i prefered the lighter dark-grey background color of v1
kind of lighter on the eyes imho - not that big of a contrast
preset browser:
v1's step-forward-back-arrows right of preset-line (and in preset browser) are gone?
miss them dearly - please bring them back!
no find option in the preset browser
having a preset selected
closing quanta's window
reopening Quanta's window
brings back the (kind of) "blank/virgin" preset window of initial opening
without any indication where the selected preset might be located
and without a "find/search" option, well...
i want the preset-browser-arrowkeys back!

I don't think audio damage cares what we think.

He does plan to bring back the arrowkeys... apparently it was giving some daws issues in quanta 1 so he temporarily removed it.

I’m honestly done with them. I put in a bug report for Enso two weeks ago and no response. Their site is down. I think they have great ideas and their stuff often sounds great, but their service is such crap that it really isn’t worth buying anything from them.

I like Quanta because it's simple and straightforward.
I don't need all the multi engine stuff 99% of the time.

But yeah... I had two years of unanswered but reports, then out of the blue he responded and I got my issue solved.

That’s a pathetic turn around rate, but it happened to me once with Dub Station, though that time they did respond and basically said, “whatever.” (Years later an update fixed it) I couldn’t even get Enso to do a simple loop. I ended up using Valhalla instead, as I recommend using other products instead of any Audio Damage plugin.zvenx wrote: Tue Nov 29, 2022 2:43 pmThey are now on discord.zerocrossing wrote: Tue Nov 29, 2022 6:46 amI’m honestly done with them. The Quanta 2 preset loading/saving is really terrible but in an effort to make it more usable as well as control the synth's params, I have created a NKS version with all presets manageable in Komplete Kontrol and fully tagged.

Don't worry if preset names seem out of sync with the NKS patch loaded - that's just one of the quirks of Quanta but it still loads the right patch

Tried today better V2, well, actually very good. The only thing imo is lack of simply manager for multisegment envelope (FEG), i mean save\load user env templates (and copy between 1-4). Considering that here ability for 99 steps\breakpoints, can build pretty complex curves. Whereas even ancient synths had curves manager, like Rapture.
+ Shape randomising also would be cool.
