v3.3.1
- Improved VCO model, now with a supernatural analog emulation. This simulates micro movements in the 303 oscillator, more audible on the square wave. This new VCO model applies to emulation models: ABL2, ABL3 Model 1, ABL3 Model 2 and can be set by using VCO Mode 1.
- MTS-ESP micro tuning supported
- Fixed: Note mode VCO Phase Reset now works
- AU and VST3 only, VST2 is removed and deprecated

Has the bug feen fixed ( 3.3.0.2) ?

Choosing osc mode 3 inverts the saw when choosing model ABL2 and ABL3 model 1 ( it's now falling instead of rising )

Thinking of getting this with the current sale. But somebody else asked this and never got an answer. What are the demo limitations. Seems fully functional to me as it is.

Never mind. Figured it out. Audio drop outs. Will be getting this today. Sounds like the best emulation to my ears anyway. YMMV.

V3.3.1 : The vst3 version opens as a mono instrument track in Cubase. The old version didn't. Bug or intentional ?

Oooh, I like that. I must go and update. TBH I find it quite irritating that everything in DAWs seem to be stereo nowadays. For mono lines there is simply no need for stereo if you're not using any internal stereo FX (which I usually tend to bypass anyway). I still use ABL3 occasionally, though presently still very much infatuated with Phoscyon2.

Hi, I bought the Reason rack version (was a good sale price), and wondering if others have done so and been sorry they didn't get the "regular" version? I'm not sure if there are many more features compared to the Reason rack version?

Also I haven't read this whole thread, so sorry if this has been addressed, but curious how people feel about ABL3 compared to the ancient RB-338? I'm getting ,old and as has been confirmed by an audiologist, I've lost ability to hear some high frequencies, but I'm surprised at how well the RB-338 stacks up to the ABL3, which seems to be a current (modern) top VST contender.

Really? Rebirth sounds like its from 1995... (Unless it's been updated any time recently that I missed...)

Sure it captures the spirit of a 303, but audio quality wise it's a long long way behind.

ABL3 is fantastic.

Yeah there's been lots of updates of the VST. I did what you did bought the Reason version then later i had to take the crossgrade to the VST version.

LOL! So does ABL3, since the mid-90's is when everyone and their brother/sister/cousin seemed to need a 303 in their tracks!

Last time I used Rebirth I remember being it being pretty obviously less detailed and more muffled than ABL or Phoscyon. Quite distinctly worse. I think your hearing may be worse than you think it is? Probably need to go to a more honest audiologist if I were you (and I'm 58, so my hearing won't be a patch on what it used to be).

Ages ago I got 95% of the way to doing a new keyboard for the classic view before getting distracted by something else ... Now I can't remember what the last 5% was supposed to be.

The grey outline superimposed over the buttons and LEDs by the plugin can make things seems a bit clunky or blurry, but here it is anyway:

A few days ago a minor ABL3 update was released ABL3X 3.3.2.5

Changes listed are:

- VCO Model 2 is now the default when launching a new session
- Pattern grid view, Click+Drag mouse now allows setting multiple steps without holding down shift
- File selector/browser now allows patch preview
