A little correction: Even if you upgrade to Komplete 14 it is fine, as you will still have Komplete 13 (and Absynth 5). No need to buy K14 full/new. In fact, buy K13 or earlier if you don't have any Komplete yet, and then upgrade to K14 if/when needed.chk071 wrote: Wed Sep 07, 2022 11:24 amHow much sense does it in your opinion make to include a plugin in Komplete 14 which won't run on Apple M1 and M2 machines (and which will never run on those), and which gets no more bug fixes, and no support whatsoever?KingofBeers wrote: Wed Sep 07, 2022 11:22 am![]()

Still one of the best NI synths and they drop it? I know the background of this synth and no updates etc...
BTW, if you're keen on keeping Absynth, there's a simple way to keep it: Don't upgrade to Komplete 14. Or buy Komplete 14 full version. That way you keep Komplete 13 or whatever version you are using, and can keep using Absynth.

Unless NI just give Absynth to Brian to develop under Rhizomatic I don't think this will ever happen.KingofBeers wrote: Wed Sep 07, 2022 11:22 am![]()

I see no issue at all then. But, I'm sure someone will find an issue with that.

Looks like Scarbee removed their products from NI via an email I just received:
"From today September 7, 2022 - Scarbee Funk Guitarist is now exclusively available on our website www.scarbee.com and will no longer be for sale on Native Instruments site or be featured on Komplete/Komplete Ultimate. We hope you will support our company in the future and buy your Scarbee Products here."

These kind of moves will help in improving the resale value of previous Komplete versions.

And yes, buying / registering now seems to have several benefits over straight K14.

As a Windows user, I don't want to lose access to software based on the current whims of Apple.chk071 wrote: Wed Sep 07, 2022 11:24 amHow much sense does it in your opinion make to include a plugin in Komplete 14 which won't run on Apple M1 and M2 machines (and which will never run on those), and which gets no more bug fixes, and no support whatsoever?KingofBeers wrote: Wed Sep 07, 2022 11:22 am![]()

By the way, noticed there's a slight change in the naming: the word Ultimate is removed from the Collector's Edition bundle, which is now simply Komplete 14 Collectors Edition. It actually makes sense. So, it's only K14CE now instead of K14UCE.
EDIT: Even the standard version of Komplete 14 is now officially named Komplete 14 Standard. Previously it did not include the word Standard.

Are a bunch of Reaktor instruments being released as VSTs? Some have Reaktor labelled in front of them and some don't in the Sweetwater listings.
