EDIT - Rewired the envelopes and added another amp, now every row has own envelope and amp, the amps have envelope as modulator on mod source A
other than that envelop one (the top one) mods A on each oscillator
Envelope 2 (the bottom one) mods B on each oscillator

16 Op FM synth, the oscillators with blue knobs are the carriers (they send FM signal to the first modulator though), the 3 oscillators next to every carrier are modulators
no FX and LFOs to be as clean and efficient as possible

Still one of my favorite plugins ever. Heading over to the user library for some new ensembles :tu:

The depth of the UL never ceases to amaze. This particular user has uploaded more than half a dozen synths over the years, all of them look tasty and I’ve never heard of them. Now I have to try them all :hihi:

I wonder how many gems are still hidden in the UL, despite threads like this. Anyway, post them here!!

I want to give a shoutout to Jasper (Chrono) Broeks's Chrono series. Specially ChroJuno, ChroJupiter, and ChroAlpha. Some of the best analog emulations in the UL that get slept on because the interfaces are not that fancy (but not bad either). They're made in core with the best sounding oscillators and filters in Reaktor... :phones:

Hey, that's me :D . Glad I found this discussion! I'm honestly not very happy with my very old ensembles, and also not a fan of Gleam, but I kinda like this new one haha. To be honest Reaktor is a bit of a pain to work with, mostly in terms of UI design which is to be honest the thing I enjoy doing the most, but since I don't know how to code it's a great platform for this kind of stuff anyway. I can just try things, mix and match until something works

Before Reaktor I made some stuff in Synthmaker (many many years ago). I moved to Reaktor when they discontinued it. I'd love for it to come back with 64 bit and Mac support, so that I could build my own plug-ins in it.

I've done that multiple times on this forum , no luck
His ensembles are indeed TOP NOtch and rival Roland(vintage) Cloud stuf, but the majority will always be attracted to stuff with fancy guis that may sound inferior ( using primary modules).
Been on reaktor for almost 2 decades , the amount of talented developers is severly reduced compared to the days when core was introduced, most have jumped to max-msp
Only a handfull to keep on eye on , Jasper Broeks being one of them , the rest just wires up library blocks and call it day .
That being said , with the incredible Core library (zd filters , osc's etc.. ) it's pretty straightforwad to create stellar soundingstuff , all it takes is a few braincells .

I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

Some of 'em founded their own company. ;-)

Afaik/afair a guy called "Programchild" and one or two more are part of today's Sugar Bytes.

And yes, those days were inspiring and a modularhead's journey, too. Genius people knowing about DSP eventually got their Reaktor core and came up with brilliant ensembles.

There's no comparison at all to nowadays Blocks-Ensembles.

I still love Reatkor, but I'm afraid to invest in design because of concern NI may drop support - It's a different market now and there's a large producer community out there that's focused on other types of tools. But it still sounds great and there are so many great devs - you could almost work entirely with free Reaktor ensembles (I'm sure some producers have done just that).

Slightly OT, but any of you guys who've been active in the User Library and/or Synth Edit looked at RHBO for Max? Looks pretty interesting in that you can create VSTs from Max. Not cheap though, especially if you don't already own Max, but still provides a faster route to VST development than coding from scratch.

Even Serum's Steve Duda got his start in music software with building custom Reaktor patches for Nine Inch Nails during the production of their 99 Album 'The Fragile', from what I've read.

Add James walker hall , forgot the name of the software company but it creates a drumsapler and a vst host .
Martijn Zwartjes( who did the great spacemaster reverb , fm4 , etc..)now part of ‘ 112 db ‘
Mike dalliot is still at N.I.( massive 2 ) and Erik wiegand ( razor etc..)
There is still great stuff being made but these are mostly verry specialized ( Col b ,ziegler)
Now everybody uploads synths -block ensembles ,are people to lazy to patch their own blocks ?
Truth be said I mostly use my own stuff and stopped sharing it :hihi: , but the majority is still available in the user lib.
