I am actually a pro user...
But when I bought the pro, knowing the history of the synth, I took it as a donation.
Not an entitlement to complain...
Clearly this synth is built with open source in mind... 80 USD is a way to support. Nothing else.

So you don't think anyone who has given any money to any developer has a right to complain when that developer doesn't handle his business correctly?

If that's the case, then he should really consider doing what he's doing, if he's so unprofessional about the people who put food on his table.

Sorry, but, you surely shouldn't let your emotions take over, when you sell a product.

That said, this is, of course, pure speculation, and, I don't think that that's the reason why he decided to take a step back from communicating. Frankly, it's a bit paradox, as this kind of speculation can also be considered pretty toxic, when you just make up reasons for subjectively perceived stuff.

The fun part is that these bitching consumers are complaining because of their own unrealistic expectations.
And by bitching this way, they are maximizing their chances to have their expectations broken and the developer to send everything to hell and go use this talent on more rewarding markets.

That's a kind of fun Self-fulfilling prophecy.
