Thank you, 3ee !
Partying in Berlin with some friends tonight, in the hometown of the maker of this lovely (and soon to be optimized) freeware gem. I hear in Berlin you shouldn't leave the house at New Year's Eve, can anyone confirm that? Well, depending on where in Berlin you live, of course.

Depends on where you are. In Charlottenburg I wouldn't leave the house - might bore you to death. Thus Grrrl and I stick to DVDs and Mai Tais.

Here in Neukoelln I'll more likely burn to death. People are crazy here with the rockets and the fire crackers. I used to love it, but I almost lost my hearing to those damn crackers a few years ago.
Nevertheless I bought some for the first time since then - goodbye hearing, you've been a good friend, but I'll happily sacrifice you for the little hysteric power rush I'll have when blowing up those little wannabe dynamite sticks.
Goodbye world of noise and music, and hello movies with subtitles.
Mustn't get anything into my eyes though, that'd be crap then.

Happy New Year everyone!

hi Urs, not working for me in logic 8 on OS 10.4.

I assume (and dont speak german so would have difficulty checking on the amazonia forum) that at least one of these elements (logic 8, as opposed to logic 9, or 10.4 as opposed to 10.5) is just too old to be supported.

as it is i'm probably gonna have to move up to 10.5 in the next few days for other reasons anyway, but dont have any plans to upgrade to logic 9. is the problem the OS, the version of logic, or both?
Signature blocked until somebody convinces me they aren't utterly pointless

If at all it should be the OS.

We'll soon be in beta stage then I'll check these issues out and hopefully find ways to fix them.

The vst version doesn't work on mac os10.6.5 in Live8.2.1
I got a perfect large square gui with the bottom half all white, and top is normal gui, that goes length wise, over the borders, then no sound, then loading the au, also had no sound, until I restarted Live.
Some cool sounds coming out of it though. I like the filter a lot.

You may not be able to use VST and AU at once anymore (Cocoa issues), hence I recommend using the AU in Live...

New version is up:

http://forum.amazona.de/read.php?13,1046

- vastly improved cpu usage on lowpass filters
- ringmodulator activated
- bandpasses fixed but not yet optimised

Enjoy,

;) Urs

uses significantly less CPU already, well done. (Quadcore, Win XP, Reaper)
Still more than ACE though, on my system.
