I just went straight there and downloaded it with no problems what-so-ever. It was a fast download, too, so I can't imagine there being too much server activity.
If you're using IE, you might want to clear your Temporary Internet Files folder.

That makes me feel so much better!dgkenney wrote:Dunno, just got lucky I guess. Got it at about 9:00am this morning by just clicking the D/L link on Presonus' pages. I was really only trying to find out how big the D/L was but since it doesn't include the sound content (smart move on their part) it was only ~ 50 megs - so I downloaded it.musikmachine wrote:
@dgkenny, how did you get the demo?

they take polyphonic audio and drag and drop into midi??
Does this mean you can take a live guitar track and trigger a vst on a midi track also?

Make sure to check if the files have been downloaded correctly (see http://forums.presonus.com/posts/list/14807.page).hibidy wrote:But there was quite some time that you couldn't get in. I tried and tried and tried and tried and then tried some more.

The Melodyne in the video you reference, is the "editor" version, which does exactly that. The version that comes with Studio One 2 (IIRC) is "essential", which does not do the *audio to midi* trick.memyselfandus wrote:In the showcase video here http://www.celemony.com/cms/index.php?id=ara#top

hibidy, do you have the same spike issue in your 'other' host?
Try changing latency/buffer settings of your sound driver, increase it, decrease it, see if it makes a difference in CPU.

No sir. Reaper or Sonar x1.dalor wrote:hibidy, do you have the same spike issue in your 'other' host?

Predator and Kontakt do this.......everything else I've checked does not. On the reaper forum (I'm not hiding it anymore, reaper is the shizzle) someone could not reproduce it so all I can do is send in a ticket and hope it's not just me.
I'm so down. I do appreciate the help.

Yeah it would be frusttrating hibidy and this is not acceptable.
In case you use an additional audio driver (like asio4all), is there any difference in CPU if you switch drivers?
I use Kontakt 4 in S2 and have no troubles.
Saying that, I had problems with a specific plugin in the past that killed my CPUs but no one else had the same problem. I contacted the developer and indeed he missed some setting in the compiler (after investigating for weeks and 20 emails later). It hopefully is something very basic in your case! Fingers crossed!

O.K. somebody please tell me I am missing something on S1/2 and that you can make the faders larger than the two choices of micro or mini. Seriously!
I am not talking about making the Insert and Send bins bigger, I mean the actual faders. Are people really mixing with those? Really? There are better ways to go blind imo
Other than that it seems pretty impressive. Love the groove extraction and transient detection. Very smooth.
