in Tremor, is it possible to link sequencer's tracks to individual MIDI outputs ?
(it could be nice since the sequencer seems to offer interesting features)
Thanks
PS: just in case, I'm using the latest version of FLS
Just as an aside, I had sent them an email about future updates to Microtonic, as this was a concern to me as well. The reply was that update is coming soon and will be free of charge.whitecloud wrote:Many have mentioned how much they like Sonic-charge U-tonic. I have downloaded the demo and will give it a go as well. I have to admit the tutorial vid on their site didn't impress me, and I notice little activity on the forums and upgrades. I read a forum post re: 64 bit and they answer was that will occur sometime, don't know when and there may be an extra charge for it
Selling your car because you don't like the fluffy dice that came with it.VariKusBrainZ wrote:I went through a whole bunch of presets last night, hoping to pick up some tricks, alas no lol
I also thought the majority of the sounds were distorted. I tried turning down the mater out, turne dof pre and post stages but it was still there.
It would be great to have some 'rounder' sounds and I cent believe there isnt a 909 kit in there somewhere!!
Main gripe - factory patterns are really crap!
Some people like to use presets to evaluate a product - surprise, surprise! Some people like presets (that work for them) because it gives them solid starting points to jump off from and tweak. Believe it or not, presets give potential customers an idea of what the product is capable of and what sounds they can get from it.CANE CREEK wrote:Selling your car because you don't like the fluffy dice that came with it.
I purchased Tremor after demoing it for a few days but almost turned it down because the vast majority of presets are over-compressed/processed and it left me with a very bad impression with regards to the quality of the product. It was only after I dug into to synthesis engine and started creating my own drum presets that I realised how great a product Tremor is (and how warm the deep synthesis engine can be).CANE CREEK wrote:Selling your car because you don't like the fluffy dice that came with it.VariKusBrainZ wrote:I went through a whole bunch of presets last night, hoping to pick up some tricks, alas no lol

Yes I've had the Tempest since the day it was released, which is about the same time as beta testing Tremor. Two different beasts IMO, and although it's been tempting to compare the sound directly with some carefully programmed patches, it's too much fun using both to be bothered.5Lives wrote:Anybody that has a Dave Smith / Roger Linn Tempest or has tried one compared it to Tremor? Would be interested in your thoughts.
I know all about presents purchase alot from soundsdevine and i sometimes use presets and tweak from there, however when I have a ground breaking plugin like Tremor infront of me and see the endless sound possibilitys it can provide I'd be embarrassed to come on a forum just ranting on about poor presets.5Lives wrote:Some people like to use presets to evaluate a product - surprise, surprise! Made this from scratch real quick, out of curiosity, is this the type of simple sounds that people are looking for in Tremor presets? Or am I missing something.
Ditto. I didn't think I'd have any interest in the sequencer functionality but the ability to easily set up constantly evolving polyrhythms with such ease is a real winner. Can't believe nobody else thought of this before!rexlapin wrote:Really digging the ability to set the loop length
