It says the edit page only. I.e., the other two are the same size as before? That could be a problem in some hosts (resizing of plugin wrapper).
The whole plugin is bigger, there's no difference in size between pages.

Ah, OK then, this is good news :!:

Why should micro tuning in Ultra Analog 2 not working in Ableton?

I think he means the synths in Live which were developed by AAS.

Oh, didn't know about that. Is it the same synth under the hood?

I honestly don't know.

The Live ones are based on Lounge Lizard, Ultra Analog and Chromaphone - but earlier versions (so UA1 not 2, LL3 not 4). It would indeed be good if they were updated.

Probably not enough money in it ;)
I guess they rather sell the VST/AU versions now.

Does the new version reset the demo period (if I remember correctly the synth turned mute forever after the demo period)? Might make sense for people who tried it in the past, but didn't get it because of the GUI...

Agree. I prefer black text over light-grey background. I hate white text on dark background. Because of retina persistence I can still see the text when I look around, like a wall. But dark background and dark-grey text is good, but maybe not enough contrast to some.

I prefer invisible ink on imaginary backgrounds.

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Exactly.

Has anyone tried the microtuning in the new version? Is it a good implementation? Does it know to set the root note properly even if there are fewer or more than 12 notes in the selected scale? Reason I ask is, Scala support can be dodgy... it doesn't work consistently in either Synthmaster or Aalto, for example. Plogue's Sforzando is one of the few that gets it right.

I can't use the new demo because the previous version expired on me, and also it looks like AAS hasn't updated their VA-2 info page yet on their own site.

So... about the same?
A well-behaved signature.

GUI is still not the biggest, but this update is really appreciated, great to be able to read the names of the controls from a little distance
