Hello. I use bliss beta and consider purchase.
Movement is the plug-in which may be light, but input of a parameter thinks it's difficult.
I want you to improve in order to input the numerical value by a right click.
Thank you very much!

We have new beta! Download at http://www.discodsp.com/bliss/

What's new:
  • Added global on/off buttons in send effects section.
  • Added export slices to midi file using sync to ticks and host BPM as reference.
  • Added drag and drop slices to midi clip from plugin to host (ctrl+shift / cmd+shift on Mac drag with mouse left button when the sample is sliced, taking into account SYNC and host BPM).
  • Added Sample editor > Cue > Destructively render slices to zones.
  • Added button to enable and disable sync to ticks in sample editor.
  • Added scrollbar to sample editor.
  • Added sample editor now remember its size when opened inside the plugin window.
  • Added sample editor remember if it was open when the plugin window is closed.
  • Added highlight text indicate when a value is already assigned in macro editor.
  • Added allow load by dropping multiple samples or programs (not both).
  • Added flag to enable or disable undo useful when working with huge instruments.
  • Added delay to LFO.
  • License.dat accepted with .txt extension.
  • Changed bank/zone triangles by slim ones as they appear on combo boxes.
  • Fixed a problem with pitch bend when retriggering new idle voices.
  • Fixed problem with macros not recalling.
  • Fixed better handling of memory units in undo actions.
  • Prettified zone names by leaving number, program name, root note and key range for freezed samples.
  • Restored cue options in menu to top level instead of submenu to ease access.

I'm positive this has been asked several times before but I just don't have time ATM to scroll through 25 pages.

Any idea when the beta (and therefore 50% off) will end?
"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

Beta 5 Installs and loads OK here ... thank you. :)

NB: the link on the final window of the Installer goes to
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... x?id=48145
which is the "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 "

But you are now using the 2010 version aren't you?

Last time mistake :) Beta 5 should not point to VS2015 Redistributable anymore, just download the installer again.

yep. lot of people had problems with vs2015 so we switched back until everything is settled for that new compiler.

Added drag and drop slices to midi clip from plugin to host (ctrl+shift drag with mouse left button when the sample is sliced, taking into account SYNC and host BPM). Cant get this to work, what do you drag?

Shortcuts / and - in sample editor are the only ones that work here
Mac Studio M4
15.7.3
Cubase 15, Ableton Live 12

sorry, i always forget when i write release notes that on mac is command+shift... the mouse pointer should change to a drag with plus icon, then drag externally. works in bitwig 1.2 on mac here.

My mistake as well. I have updated the manual, forum and news http://www.discodsp.net/pdf/bliss.pdf

Can any users take the time to confirm an issue that I've had with bliss for awhile? The issue: Bliss freezes the play cursor of various DAWS when the *SAMPLE EDIT WINDOW* is open and samples are being triggered. This has happened in Macshine 2, Tracktion5&6 and Sonar X3. I sent a video showing the issue, but see nothing notated about a fix in beta5.

If no one has tried triggering samples with their DAW playing while the sample edit window is open, I suggest that you do, so that if I'm not the only one seeing this issue, it can be addressed early. I have a feeling the developers only test in certain programs, so- the more DAWS being tested, the better!

Next is Beta 6 and it will very likely be the last one before 1.0.0 release.
