Oh no, I'm not talking about the GUI itself, I already own some Valhalla products. I'm talking about the parameters we can see : too classic. No ducking, no complex multitap, no reverse...

You're saying this based on not knowing:

-- how many modes there are besides BBD and Tape.
-- whether there's anything else under "era" (likely nothing else but we don't know)
-- what else is under "style" aside from Single and Dual (there's a lot of space left on that dial)
-- what other GUI options might dynamically change based on mode/style/etc.
-- what "Age" does
-- how the (visible) multitap options work

And importantly:
-- what it sounds like

Yes, absolutely. I think I expected a complex multitap (because I thought they would make it as different as possible from Valhalla Ubermod to avoid any overlap). I love to apply a distorsion to the first tap, then a reverb to the second one, a filter to the third one... But this is not a complex multitap : I'm out, so nevermind my opinion.

It was never going to be that plugin. Ubermod is the most complex Valhalla plugin, and will likely remain that way based on things Sean has said.

True, but for Sean's seeming, stated intention to keep gui's as one-page wysisyg affiars. Either way, those who know can't say, so we'll just have to wait.

Like with all Valhalla plugs, however, those dials are ripe for a turning
