Supermassive 4.0.0 out now with a fresh new mode.
Pleiades (new in 4.0.0): Fast attack, smooth decay, high echo density, filtering in the feedback loop, great for realistic and transparent reverbs.
Pleiades isn’t one of the “weirdo” Supermassive modes. Instead, it is designed to make the smoothest, most natural reverbs yet found in Supermassive. Pleiades has a very fast attack, and a filtered exponential decay. The reverb structure is inherently dense without coloration, and the echo density can be increased by turning DENSITY up to 100% without sounding metallic. The goal of Pleiades is to create transparent, open sounding reverbs, but it also excels at modulation effects and chorused delays

Pleiades... damn right THICK!
I only played the last hour or so with a synth preset I have for checking reverbs, but this sounds like it can do AIR studio sound with a little bit of EQ work on orchestral? (I have not tried that yet)
Thank you so much Sean for this amazing plugin.

Thank you very much for the update!
I am the only one that notices a more left channel oriented sound with Pleiades? It is more noticeable if mix=100%, the reverb always starts on the left channel, and creates the illusion that the sound is left panned.

Playing a custom MYTH patch straight into Valhalla Supermassive, checking out the new algorithm Pleiades introduced in version 4.0, then switching to Leo.

Thank you. Although you only know one reverb setting (everything maxSampleconstruct wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2024 4:56 pm Playing a custom MYTH patch straight into Valhalla Supermassive, checking out the new algorithm Pleiades introduced in version 4.0, then switching to Leo.
Pleiades seems pretty light and airy, but not lush - it could definitely have some very interesting atmospheric uses.
Leo is super lush though - sounds great on the pads you have there.
It's ridiculous that this plug in is free. Many thanks Valhalla!
