- [Change] Switch default play mode to Single
- [Imp] Add ability to load a sound bank via Midi/Sysex (thx to @balls)
- [Imp] Added native Midi ports support to allow to make it easier to use external editors for the emulator (thx to @balls)
- [Imp] Add ability to resize temporary UI (thx to @lol_catz)
- [Imp] Oscillator 3 Mode is now a dropdown menu instead of a Slider (thx to @lol_catz)
- [Fix] Fix presets sent via Sysex to Bank A were stored in Bank B
- [Fix] Fix parameter changes not remembered in single mode if sent for part 0
- [Fix] Fix master tune being off after reloading a project
- [Fix] Added missing distortion curves (thx to @balls)

Just tried Virus C rom with the emu and it worked great!
It didnt use much CPU (only one core ofcourse) and could play any sounds at high polyphony. No multiple outs so i didnt test multi mode. 1/16th of CPU usage of a Ryzen 3950x is quite nice! Loading another instance would make more sense, atleast if each instance use another core.

Oh cool, I’ve missed that there’s a (temporary) GUI. I guess I’ll finally try it.
Works pretty well on my i7 with single voice. Wonder how much further optimisation is possible. Interested to see how it runs on an M1 Pro.-

A Virus C seems to occupy about half a core on a M1, varying with the patch. This is really promising, and it’s still a good sounding synth
It’s not quite stable yet (Ableton native beta on Big Sur), the sound stops from time to time for a moment. I’ll give it another go when the fully fledged GUI arrives. Can’t wait!

Thank you so much to the team who worked on this! Having any sort of GUI at all is wonderful, now I can finally use it in FL Studio! This is one of the greatest VST projects ever!

Ryzen 5900 here. Latest version takes 4% in Ableton Live 11 on Windows.
All sounds played fine, single or multi note. Preset browser and GUI are finally there and nice to have. Sysex loading works superb.
What can you say? This is a Virus sound right in a box. Now we only need a decent GUI. I mean even this one is fine but something in tabs or something like that. So that one doesn't need to browse up or down in long list of parameters.
I am not complaining. This is simply AWESOME!
