I didn't want the 808, but a 606 to add to the 909 is a worthy acquisition.zvenx wrote: Wed Jun 05, 2024 2:08 pm https://www.instagram.com/reel/C7y6ooTh ... BiNWFlZA==

Coming out tomorrow of course, TR606 emulations must be released on 6.06.. Those are the rules, I don't make them

Just got a launch offer of €59 for Nithonat 2...
Tempting...but I've been tempted a lot lately.
PB's Tracktion focus, PhasePlant anniversary discount... Hmm, Nithonat 2 seems awesome though ...

- Why doesn't the randomize function include the accent in Drumazon 2 and Nepheton 2
- Mute/unmute the drumtrack in Reaper v7 sometimes causes Drumazon/Nepheton to lose their timing.

I got the offer for Nepheton on sale. How does it compare to drumazon? I love drumazon, I can make it sound pretty much dead on to a hardware 909. Plus I can detune the hats and ride which is great. I’m reading you all saying nepheton is not as accurate to the 808, so maybe drumazon is the better emulation?
I typically use the Ableton core 909/809/707 kits which are surprisingly good, but drumazon sounds more like the hardware and gives me more tuning options.

Nepheton is amazing. If you like Drumazon you will most likely like this as well (same workflow and all). I will have to admit I use the ableton core kit a lot as wellstash98 wrote: Fri Oct 18, 2024 1:52 pm I got the offer for Nepheton on sale. How does it compare to drumazon? Drumazon 2 is really good. Nepheton 2 accuracy is still a work in progressstash98 wrote: Fri Oct 18, 2024 1:52 pm I got the offer for Nepheton on sale. How does it compare to drumazon? cpu consumption has gone up so much higher on all their new plugins, I don't even want to upgrade them. I have upgraded one so far, that's it...

Yeah my impression as well. Too bad. I wonder if their 606 is good? At least they nailed the 909 quite nicely in software. That’s been well worth it for me.

Their 606 is equally as good ,in fact it’s a brilliant drum machine in its own right
Aside from Elektrons hardware offerings I personally regard d16’s software drum emulations as just stunning instruments in their own right,I can get some really interesting results using their sequencers and fx
Premium instruments in my opinion with more than fair asking prices
