How do you select a note range in the note selector ?

Rony

Post

For first You need to add layer, and then use right mouse button to select notes. The pink one means range from one key to another, the blue one means one key (1 note range)

Of course the only thing I didn't try was right click :)
Look like a great product CCT, looking forward to the final version

Is autolooping implemented allready?
That's what would make this truly outstanding.

Not really nessesary, at least not for sf2.
(only supports 16bit) ;)
I wasn't planning on converting to sf2 ;)

floyd: You need 24/32 bit wav export ?

I don't 'need' it but I would certainly use it if it was available. Sometimes I do additional processing on my samples and 24-bit is obviously a better choice for that scenario. Not to mention some hardware synths have low volume, which means a higher noise floor in 16-bit.

And as I said before, in a commercial software situation, 24-bit minimum will be a must for your program.

Post

24bit would indeed be a must for a commercial program (even if it really only matters on further processing, for pure patch playback it usually doesn't, at least not all that much).
Having said that, you should probably think about further patch output formats others than SF2 only. Maybe SFZ would be a nice idea to start with. Should be easy to get all the required information.

Yes i am planning sfz output also 24/32 too :)

edit:
24 bit export done, also 24bit recording too. Next release just before midnight.

Post

well 500ms decay is really annoying, I would prefear only one layer limitation :)
the price is really THE point for me. I don't need more features, just a cheap vst>sfII converter ;)

Post

You could use the Xlutop Chainer demo,
but it has no auto looping...

Just an idea ;)

Hey CCT. Midnight of which day? ;) I'm eager to try the 24-bit support if you release a new demo.

Unfortunately there is no donation link, because only one man donated (thanx again :) ), so Vdumper is going to be commercial tool. New version will have limited options...
I am happy that external recording finally works without any problems :)

Best regards

:-o :-o  Just read this yet (didn't know you're back, great, CCT!!!).

Of course you mean only after being back just ONE MAN donated - otherwise I would be that "one man"; and I am rather sure many here did donate in the past... :D :D :D

Just thought of getting Chainer if I got some money for buying it...now I'll wait what will be your price, CCT.
