AMS with free ground shipping for me is next day as long as the order is placed in time for same day shipping. Hoshino USA is not all that much further away if any at all. AMS is in NJ and Hoshino is in PA less thn 10 miles from the NJ border

The things I ordered at sweetwater always got sent on time, arrived earlier than expected, and you get candy!Vectorman wrote:When you opt for overnight with Sweetwater, you can trust that it will be sent out in a timely fashion (the same day if you order early enough). Granted, the one time I used overnight with them, I ended up having to leave the house for a bit and missed FedEx, but that was my fault. They don't always have the absolute lowest prices on things, but I feel better ordering something like a bass from them, since they perform an inspection prior to shipping to make sure the instrument is set up decently and electronically sound. It's nice to feel confident that you aren't just getting a box yanked from storage and thrown on the loading dock that could contain a defective instrument.

Rich is in Joysee. Maybe that is one of the reasons he has a collection that rivals the likes of Vai.Hink wrote:AMS with free ground shipping for me is next day as long as the order is placed in time for same day shipping. So, I went to Sam Ash last weekend for some audio business but like always, found my way over to the guitar section. Man, they have a lot of guitars in Sam Ash and was just window shopping when I saw the RED SHINEY American Strat.
Salesman, came right over with a cable and a pick and said, play it.... so I plugged it in and started to play.... what a nice sounding start... really solid sounding. Then he told me that Sam Ash bought FENDER's entire stock of 2012 American Strats and is offering these at $799. I love American Strats and tried to get a free cable with it or something but NO GO... so I walked out.
Came home and researched this guitar and the going price for this Model is $1099 everywhere (lists for $1599 and it is discounted the same at $1099 at all the big on line spots, Sweetwater and all the on line stores that GC owns). Now I knew more about this guitar and the price, I couldn't get the guitar out of my mind. Sorta like when you first meet an attractive girl. I had to have this... so the next day, I drove down to Sam Ash and luckily a different salesman worked with me and I bought the guitar. It is really nice and looks sharp too (good color). Comes with a hard shell case and all the case candy you would expect from a high end FENDER.
So, my next guitar was an impulse buy and now I added another tool to the shed. Very happy and satisfied. Don't know if anyone else mentioned this deal at Sam Ash but it is an in store special only and once they are gone, they are gone.

I love Sweetwater - good customer service, ships on time arrives on time, and decent prices and kick ass selection!hibidy wrote:The things I ordered at sweetwater always got sent on time, arrived earlier than expected, and you get candy!Vectorman wrote:When you opt for overnight with Sweetwater, you can trust that it will be sent out in a timely fashion (the same day if you order early enough). Sounds like my fatal trip the GC last year - wanted a cheap Squire but left with an FSR Strat (HSS, candy apple red) that was on sale.. I really love her..
