blow by blow, because I've never heard it before as well as some stuff by the shins, also been watching a bunch of CMT (I don't know why), I'm fasinated with this thing called bluegrass (something new to me)...its just balls to the walls rhythm, and which has changed my open chord strumming technique.

@meeks: Bluegrass is interesting stuff, for sure. I've heard it played on the front porch of an ancient country store in southern Virginia by four white-haired geezers with the most amazing rapport... they must've been playing together for decades. (My mate and I happened to be driving past and stopped to have a listen. What's now a store was once the house where one of the guys was born.)

For a taste of bluegrass mixed with jazz mixed with a little of all kinds of other stuff, check out Bela Fleck and the Fleck-Tones. Very good. (No, that's not who we heard on the porch! :-D They were very traditional; the Fleck-Tones are NOT.)
