well actually there was an Aodix pro (appeared around early 2001) so 2004 for aodix would be kinda imprecise.
I wonder if anyone has any of his old choons, 'em that appeared in mp3.com around year 2000 and such :Q

There have been several aodixes. Modix, Aodix, then Aodix Pro, then Freebase, then Aodix 2, Aodix 3, Overdose. All these are "intermediate works" before Aodix v4. Aodix v4 (2004-2006) is the real achievement of Argu in what regards sequencers, and the ultimate tracker according to him (and to me too). BTW : Aodix v4 is a co-creation of Argu and myself. And it was agreed between us that it will be freeware one day. So it is freeware since yesterday (downloadable at www.aodix.com). I think this free release gives us something more to remember the man =)

I'm so sorry for Argu... just found out... man what a tragedy. [put some nasty swears here, can't help it - I'm like that], I still can't believe it happened.
My deepest condolences to his family. We lost a great great developer. I really loved most of his software. He was brilliant. Directwave, Deckadance, Vertigo, Aodix... oh maaaan. Don't get me wrong, I don't mourn only for software but for a young, clever, brilliant man he was and passed on so young, that's a tragedy.
Now I shall mourn in peace for a while. [put some nasty swears again here and a few tears]
How [you know what] did that happen [same here]...
no cheers today.

This is a huge loss. I'll always be grateful for his software.

This is such a bummer. Arguru was getting SO CLOSE with DirectWave!
Please, Image-Line.. we beg of you: Fulfill Argu's vision of a COMPLETE softsampler, and complete/deliver the Mac port of DirectWave.
Quite simply: It's what he would want. It's what we want.

I often use his superb TB4004 in Buzz. It's tragic. A lot of thoughts for family and friend. Now Arguru is a true legend... Unfortunately.

Went to the Psycle site to check for updates and discovered this tragic news. Condolences to his family, friends and fiancée. The world has lost a talented and prolific coder.
