Terrible news. The man had a wonderful ear, and a connection to thousands through such communities as KVR. His posts were always something to take note of. He will definitely be missed.

Too sad
When I opened this forum and read this topic, I became stunned.
For me, Tim's name wil be attached with his kind of "music from the cosmos", i.e. his music and the numerous presets he has made for so numerous synths.
All my sympathy goes for his family.
Welcome among the stars, Tim.

I never knew Tim but came across his name all over the web. It was his beautiful demo for the Cameleon 5000 which first brought Camel Audio to my attention. He was a genuine enthusiast and a talented programmer.
My heart goes out to his family and friends.

this news hit me hard this morning ! I'm saddened and shocked to hear the news.
My condolences to all Tims family.
Tim was an internet buddy of mine, we hooked up originally through his magnificent patches .. Cameleon5000 and Camelspace were my favourites. They are inspirational.
More recently we have worked on a couple of tracks together and were amidst plans to extend it into a larger project
Tim I'll miss your emails , your music, and your inspiration. Thank you for having an amazing impact on my musical path

I'm still reeling with shock. My condolences go out to Diane and the rest of Tim's family.
Tim was a great guy, with a huge amount of talent, yet was so helpful to everyone. He will live on in so many people's memories, while his music and sounds will always be there to remind us the huge amount he achieved over the years.
He will be greatly missed by loads of people - this thread proves just how many had great respect for him.
Sad, sad news.

I am utterly shocked and saddened by this news.
I received an email from Tim a few days ago and responded to him this morning unaware of this tragedy.
Tim was one of the most decent and renowned sound designers I have every had the good fortune to know.
His selfless contributions to the sound design industry were unparallelled and he was always the first to help and advise.
I wish to extend all our sympathies and condolences to his wife Diane and his family.
I know that many of you knew him, or knew of him, and I am sure this will be a shock to all.
I would also like to extend our sympathies to Glen, Ben and the team at Camel Audio as Tim was loved and revered there and this loss will impact them too.
