well, i like the idea of doing stuff on a laptop with venom
so it can be ready to send to x0xbox memory banks.

It's always the vb-303 first and then the x0xb0x right? If so, the vb-303 sounds fantastic, good job on emulating the sound. any news from textile, the cpu guy?
what if he never does it?!!!!
PLUS, that's going to be a major mod for most x0x owners,
maybe it'l put them off installing nonx0x...?
any way at all of squeezing more onto existing cpu? how much
more space would you need to fit in a trackmode? if something
had to be sacrificed ( even random, for example )?
thinking you could have alternative versions of the 'short' firmware,
pre- cpu upgrade.
(and treat us all to a xmas beta of where you've got to with the plugin
so far!!!

other thing, after reading about the reversed cap: have you tried other
mods to your machine, and which ones? i couldn't tell much difference tbh
on the cap thing. the one that seems to make sense is the psu mod, and that
might cover issues involving that cap too...
i thought the demos by bcbox had a nice harmonic thing going with the filter,

no news about the CPU yet
you can't squeeze more into that chip, it has about less than 16KB for the firmware
the random thing is only like 3 lines of code
i don't try mods, i try not to brake this thing, i'll have to kill myself then
i only did 2 things to it: reso boost mod (R97 replaced with a 10K pot) and now this C29 thing
i'm tempted to try out the psu mod too but it's kinda more scary..
right now i'm fighting with something very dumb but.. it's gonna spoil the whole Venom plan
i can't get the .dll directory .. i CAN'T
i need this because i need to use a Config file
i'll also need it for another synth (which i started doing meanwhile)

yeah, i sorted it out (but spent more than a whole day, my brain was boiling..)
it was stupid, C::B and GCC issue, DllMain() wasn't exported, i had to use extern C ..
now it's getting the path and so, the config file will be loaded/saved from the directory where Venom is executed from (either the Venom.dll or the Venom subfolder which SE creates, not tested it yet)

fortunately, it was only the mainboard/video/audio
now i'm back with a new (cheaper) mainboard.. audio sux..

no, not because of it
it burned because of the cheap powersupply
my point was.. i didn't have recent backups of Venom/n0nx0x so thank god the hard disk survived this

write a script to run every single possible permutation on a 303,
run it, and tick acceptable patterns as you go. job done! :p
