Or is it a problem on the part of my DAW?

OK, I just recorded a little melody on my other DAW, same problem, the preset is not remembered. So it is probably a problem with the U-NO-LX.

Or maybe it only happens with the demo version. But as long as that is not clarified, I certainly won't buy the full version.
That's a demo limitation. Right above the download link you may have noticed:
Demo / Full Version:
It's not possible to save presets in demo mode.

That was not my point, I know one cannot save presets and use them. I was talking about factory presets only and my two DAWs did not seem to remember which factory presets I had used.

Post

I don't know then, my copy is registered and my DAW remembers whatever i was working on previously. AFAIK many plugins prevent any sort of patch recall in demo mode, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were a demo limitation. What host do you use?

Ah, OK. Maybe saving patches is not the only thing disabled :D

(Mixcraft and Mulab)

I did extensive comparisons with Noisemaker today, the U-NO definitely sounds better in the higher frequency ranges, more sophisticated and cleaner. The low-frequency attack noise that can sometimes be heard in Noisemaker is mostly gone in the U-NO as well. But the sound character as such is pretty similar, they are like chimp vs. bonobo, where Noisemaker is the chimp and the U-NO the bonobo ^^

Since you have the license already, are there any bugs left? Or is it already a rock-solid, mature plugin?

Post

Solid as a rock here and no problem recalling presets. Using it with Reaper, Renoise and S1 64bit.

I assume you have the paid version already. Did you use factory presets as well? I am asking because of my post from 2:21pm on the previous page...
All patches are homebaked. It's so easy to patch that I didn't bother to start with patches after all.

In the meantime you can try this one.

(In case youre wondering; Width-Modulation for the Saw is included, as are various Envelope modes.)

Price: Free
Uhh, great one, thanks! :)

Indeed. I finally decided to get D-16 Drumazon (Roland TR-909 emulation) even if i already got FXpansion Geist so "collecting" Roland emulations seems to go on ... :)
Rrecently i got: Adam Szabo JP6K (JP-8000 emulation), Arturia Jupiter 8V (Jupiter 8 emulation), TAL-U-NO-LX (Juno-60 emulation), ERS Dimension D Chorus (Roland Dimension D (SDD-320) Chorus) and now Drumazon (TR-909 emulation). Not to forget the Deepflight Kontakt instrument with samples based on the D-50.

BTW D16 Group has a "Summer Sale" with 30% off now.

How many of these have 64-bit vsts and/or AUs for Mac?

(which btw is also a major bummer about the Phutura plugin, not having a Mac version)

I am still using Windows 7 32-bit so i don't need those... :)

Anyway TAL U-NO-LX, Arturia Jupiter 8V (and other Arturia synths since v2.5), ERS Dimesnion D and Drumazon should be 64-bit and also available as AU. Adam Szabo's JP6K is based on SynthMaker so no 64-bit and Mac for that.

You can't always get what you waaaant...

Hi, sorry if this has been covered in this thread already. Just bought U-NO-LX, and received a sn# but I have no idea how to use it to register the product. I'm sure it's blatantly obvious, I'm just not seeing it.

Thanks, Jon
