Dave, I downloaded the newest demo and I still have the same preset loading problem that I mentioned before. However, I have discovered something new. When I save a preset in the default directory, and try to load it via the preset browser, it does NOT load and the gui goes blank. However, If i save the same preset in a new folder and place that folder in the default directory, then it loads perfectly !! Is this a bug?

vst 2.4, win 7 64bit, 32 bit hosts

Main reason - so where required I can quickly update all instances of equality in all my projects to a better sounding and more cpu efficient eq by just going into equality and selecting "Equilibrium" from the dropdown menu.

That will be a lot quicker than swapping out equality and setting up equilibrium all the time.

Maybe have the extra mode just for owners of equilibrium?

I think it's okay not to rework each existing plug-in any time you invent something new.

On the other hand, if your GUIs are too small on modern displays, lack contrast and just show their age, I guess it would be okay to go back and rework them... Looking at you, Waves!

I'm experiencing pops when changing models in the Low Shelf. This happened in v1.0 and still does in v1.01, roughly 1 time out of 3. The pops peak to over 70db.
EQuilibrium VST3 x64, Cubase 6.5 x64, Win 7 x64... still have to check in Cubase 7 as I'm re-installing it.

Oh, I found something odd in 1.0.0, as well.

- Double-click into the graph to create filter
- Click and drag the filter handle
-> Filter bypasses

In order to be able to drag them, I have to single-click somewhere else.

When are this bugs going to be sorted out:

1st - I put EQuilibrium on channel 1, for example, I tweak sound, add bands etc. Than I open new eq instance on 2nd channel and it opens up but with same bands and settings as on 1st channel. It's like it saves settings as presets and loads it up as default on every new instance. Why it doesn't open an default (empty) setting of an eq?

2nd - when I open eq for the 1st time, there are no graphical issues, when I close it and open it again, there are weird borders around GUI? Only things to fix this is to close eq and open it again.

This all happens on win 7 64bit, S1 Pro latest version 64bit...

First report of these. Please can you email me screenshots? I'll try and get repro here.

Continuing with my previous problem. If I load the new custom preset through the preset browser and it does not load, shows blank gui. Now If I select another default preset and then look at the preset browser, my saved preset has now disappeared and nowhere to be found until i reload the eq.

Is there anyway to disable the setup wizard so I won't never have to see it again unless I choose to do so?
Whenever I add equilibrium to a track I have to see the setup wizard again. This is very annoying because I already have my own default presets for it that I would like to use.

Start your host with administrator rights, this should solve it.

What platform/host/format are you using?

Short answer: go to Setup->About/Credits and click "Save as Default".
If that doesn't get it, you have a permissions problem.

Thank you for the advices. I managed to get it working by starting Reaper4 with admin rights.
I am also happy to see that the v.1.01 update has fixed all crashes for me.

Sorry to keep mentioning this, it's not actually that big a deal so feel free to ignore this. But just to let you know, the Digital+ cancelletaion issue is not completely fixed. Still the amount of cancellation varies depending on the level of compensation you select.
