No, I didn't find that option.
Just split Sub-Track at the beginning of the measure you want and open the editor.

Let me know if you want it - I'll drop the project into dropbox for you.
Is there a way to get the envelope editor to show up WHILE the arrange view is visible? E.g. so you can see where you're editing?
Hey, I found it - Select envelope track, Right click on EDIT, there is an option Show Floating Editor. :D

Hmm. I don't have that option anywhere I can find... also, I mentioned no performance problems, but I *do* have one very irritating one: it takes 5+ seconds every time I click to edit a MIDI clip or automation clip. This gets VERY old VERY quickly. Unsure what's caused it - went from fine to slow, no in-between... probably the overall CPU usage, maybe the size of the track? Unsure, either way, it's making this process pretty bad.

Right click on EDIT at the top:

you can also access the floater for each selected track by clicking the arrowed button, yours will have a little slanted arrow icon and not say "ED"

Beauty is only skin deep,
Ugliness, however, goes right the way through

Aha! Not a huge improvement, but at least it's something...

Hi, I know its been asked before but how long does it take for a track to appear on the group soundcloud, I cant remember even though Ive entered a couple of times previously ?

Usually 1-3 days; he'll definitely moderate them all in before the end of the month.

Pls email me about this so to analyze what this could be.

If you want you can always use floating part editors by switching the "Standard Floating Part Editors" preference to on.

FL Studio 11
3 instances of mux
started with presets but then tweaked them to varying degrees
used a bit of mux reverb and a bit of FL reverb and then maximus for mastering

Musically the track is influenced by Ryuichi Sakamoto, and also Joe Hisaishi's soundtracks from the films "Sonatine", "Dolls", and "A Scene at the Sea". It's supposed to be repetitive and meditative, but the way I made it, the voices don't line up on the same beat as they did in the measures beforehand. The voices are in different time signatures. So it's different every time.

I wonder if somebody can help me out. It's for future OSCs as well as my own use.

Several times during the course of the community helping me get my track presentable, it was mentioned that I should make sure that two instruments don't occupy the same frequency and if they do, I should notch out one to make room for the other. I know how to do the notching using an EQ. That's not the problem. The problem is, what utility can I use to isolate the two sounds (let's say I have 10 tracks) so that I can see what frequency each one is in so that I can then decide how to process one or the other?

Essentially, what I want this utility to do is show me the frequency of each track together, like my FabFilter EQ does, so I can then do the editing at the right spot.

Preferably, a free utility if it exists.

Personally, I put SPAN or my DAW's frequency spectrum meter on the master, open it up, and then solo each track, looking to see where it's peaking. Within a given range, I'll generally only have 2-3 tracks that heavily overlap, so switching back & forth isn't so bad. Hypothetically, there could be a meter that took multiple inputs and graphed each with a different colour... but I don't know of any offhand.

Right, this is what I'd do, too. I think there is something non-free that does it across multiple channels, but it's easy enough just to solo a track and look at SPAN on the master. Side note: I also am a fan of the Melda Frequency Analyzer, for some reason I'm able to read it a bit better.
