I am very upset
I bought the one for $199 offered at NAMM.

I could have saved $50!

Thanks for this amazing info! Just purchased using the link in the OP, and can confirm it is the full version and it works flawlessly. The deal says it is good until March 18, 2018.

yes to this - has not had the exposure it deserves as it is a great tool for sound design. Maybe the pricing was too high,BattleVet wrote:Spectral Layers..... Seriously.... The Future

I like Samplitude quite a lot, although for me and my hardware, the audio engine seems a little
less stable than pretty much every other DAW I use (10 of them,
). This hasn't really
been a problem for me though, and I should probably just increase my buffer size as it suggests,
but I don't. I like the fx well enough, and I dig Robota, Vandal etc... To me, it doesn't seem
complicated at all to learn or operate, but I have a pretty high level of experience with such things.
All in all this promo has been a great deal IMHO. If you're interested in the DAW, definitely check
it out. The technology is good, if possibly a bit long in the tooth at times.
-Cheers

In the meanwhile, they are trying to squeeze the former Sound Forge users with outrageous upgrade prices (as they did with Samplitude Pro X first version - this same app they are now almost giving away)SHall1000 wrote:Sale extended till 18th April......maybe forever?

A few months into, I'm liking Samp A LOT.
Is there a way to have more FX slots visible in the mixer?

If I remember correctly more slots get added when you add another plugin... I can't remember off hand how, so check the help or large manual!xphen0m wrote:A few months into, I'm liking Samp A LOT.

Not sure I want to learn a new DAW, as I only recently started using Reaper more rather than Renoise. (I've yet to integrate the two with Rewire, which is probably an awesome pairing if I ever find the right workflow.)
One thing this has that I miss with Reaper is being able to take an audio clip and make a groove quantize from it. I play most parts live from my keyboard with very little quantize, but for a quick pop track groove quantize is still valuable.

$199 sale extended until May 20th.
I think they should just make that the permanent price given how long it's been discounted.
