Indeed it is!
Just a touch of EQ and a tickle of compression

Thanks, it was a side track to all my other side tracks that finally turned into something.

mmGhost has some great vids on YouTube that I highly recommend for anyone into heavy dnb.

His "OSC 93"; 14 part tutorial/walk-through.. is really cool.

Ok Here it is.

I had a tough time with this synth at first, I ran into a lot of glitches that I struggled to find workarounds for.
Halfway through the month I was ready to just give up when I thought "Why not embrace the glitches".

I scrapped my original idea and set about to find creative ways to "break the synth". One example that you can hear clearly on the outro is the way the tail of long delay's and reverbs would just cut off almost like they were running out of voices.

In the end It was a cool lesson for me to remember that this is art and you can paint cool things with a broken brush :)

@Progtronic: Yep, those are it. One one the great things about them is the "from scratch" OSC construction. They don't start with "Well, I used this sample from Vengeance".....yadayadayada haha. I'm sure he'll be posting a banger here soon!

@PeterH: Haha, thank you. I feel like I finally may have found my way to your sub!

I knew I should have checked it on a few more systems

I updated the mix and master to be warmer and more Soundcloud friendly.

It is amazing what walking away from the mix for a day will reveal.

Agreed. I often forget this basic technique. No point n mixing after 10 hrs of sound design and arranging. You really cant hear anymore. Sometimes even an hour or so is enough to spoil a mix.
We jumped the fence because it was a fence not be cause the grass was greener.
