There is a massive difference between "blurry" and "maybe ever-so-slightly less crisp than you'd expect", which is the absolute worst thing you could say about OB-E. In this image, I scaled OB-E to fill my screen and then roughly matched the size with SEM. I could easily work with them at a much smaller size, so this is an absolute worst case scenario. Yes, SEM definitely looks crisper but OB-E just looks like it has a different anti-aliasing algorithm. To my eyes, OB-E actually looks nicer. SEM looks a bit sterile, like it's all vectors. But neither are anything that even approaches any definition of "blurry". This image is a PNG so we get lossless compression -
If you right-click on it and choose to open it in a new window or tab, you can see it full size. That said, it looks about the right size in my browser as is. Full size it is much, much larger than you see it in Studio One.
EDIT: For the record, I am looking at all this on my laptop's stunningly gorgeous 2.5k OLED screen with Windows scaling also at 125%.

For no reason? The email I received about the update clearly stated "for an immersive experience." Now it's like you're really there, using it IRL!Vortifex wrote: Thu Sep 28, 2023 1:00 pm Hmm, it looks like they've tried to 'Arturia-ize' the interface by adding art of a wooden surface under the SEM that does nothing but add bloat and take up screen real estate for no reason

I think it would have worked without all the extra Arturia style wood around the sides.. but with all that unnecessary wood, oh wait immersive experience wood, I think it just wastes precious screen space.

GFORCE screwed up the UI. The wood table in the background is absolutely ridiculous. For the love of God, why would they do that? They should go back in and get rid of the stupid table, its ugly AF

Look at it this way: someone was paid to make it worse. And someone will be getting paid to deal with support complaints about how it was made worse. And it was all 100% unnecessary because literally no one complained about the old one. This is a jobs creator!

Also, it is really unfortunate they placed the SEM that close to the edge of the table. The rubber feet could slip off the table resulting in scratches on the bottom side of the enclosure.Harry_HH wrote: Thu Sep 28, 2023 1:47 pmYes, and the wooden panels resonate badly and ruin especially all thevertibration wrote: Thu Sep 28, 2023 1:20 pm GFORCE screwed up the UI. What a ridiculous update. Old one is so much better. Same space, much better use if space.
Thanks but no thanks for the flippin' table.
