Hey, that's a nice desk. Where and how much?
At Staples for $149. (I just looked and it's now down to $129.99...damn!).

It's a Z-Line Eclipse Mobile Computer Workstation; it really looks like it was almost custom-built for my MIDI keyboard and monitor needs...everything fits perfectly! It's also got a very thick, sturdy piece of wood for the main desk area, which supports the keyboard really nicely. :)

damned - :? sometimes I feel like being the younger version of you, Har - even my studio looks somehow similar to yours  ( except that my floorboards are shamefully hidden behind my guitar amp :hihi: )

For those that are glad they don't have to hassle with all the BS of analog cable hookups since going to a DAW, I give you a reminder of why you're glad!

This was last winter while adding a few odds and ends and redoing my FX rack.

While I love my DAW and VST setup, I still love the old school stuff as well! :D It keeps me outta the bars and off the streets.

Now, if I can talk Robert into leasing out the ironing board for an upcoming track, I'll have every effect I ever needed! :hyper:

well we now where your name comes from :hihi:
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

I was editing when you posted. I've never seen scroll bars on a posted image before. . .

Is it just my machine? Did I screw up the .jpg?

Did Ben clamp down on the size of pics?

Errata. . .

I incorrectly attributed the ironing board to Robert Randolph for some reason

My apologies to Robert and any distress I may have caused his cleaning crew or his unseen ironing board.

I also regret any reference that may have caused Shane Sanders or his ironing board any feelings of abandonment or discomfort.

I also regret posting while drinking, but it's easier than drinking while posting.

Humble apologies to all.

The mixer (Mackie 1604) is over there on the right, in the rack... :D

Control surface...? Uhhh...heh, for me, that's the Korg keyboard sitting in front of me on the desk, or one of the various stringed beasties. Otherwise all other controlling per se is accomplished via QWERTY keyboard or mouse. :D

You guys have some amazing setups! :o :x :D
