 Brilliant, Scott!

Sales tally is not too brilliant. We've sold 185 CDs, so only 9 after the preorders.

utm,

One slight correction - Clarkston is in Michigan, not Illinois.

Thanks for posting it on the site.

You're both nuts. It's a department store. Only in the US they call it Wal*Mart

Or should that be Wal  Mart?

As far as I know, the publishing of the article in the local paper resulted in increasing the sales tally by one count. Bummer. :( Perhaps there are more, but I just don't know about them.

Does CDBaby give us sales figures on geographic location? - Probably not, but wouldn't that be cool to see where in the world these things shipped? We could do one of those Google maps and post it on the CD page.

As far as the records show, there is one MI buyer that refers to you on Jan. 2.
Not a bummer at all really. :)
Not everyone is going to warm up to a cd, but apparently some do. Benefit CDs are not the broadest market around, but the more times stories about it are read, the more people will be in(c)line(d) to buy it.

Cdbaby does indicate location of buyers, just not in a figure or graph form.
A map could perhaps be produced, but it would be a project.
Anti-aliasing is for "synthmonk%ys".
