Can you share that rendered audio file? Also, maybe you should resell ot or ask for a refund.
you abandoned the synth because you were getting glitches with ONE preset? how were the other 1000 presets? :o

Post

Could it be that you were using said preset in the wrong context?

I've noticed similar things with all synths I own, normally narrowed down to LFO re-triggering, the problem being the length of MIDI notes used in my track likely not the same as the original preset designers.

Presets aren't 1 size fits all, usually need tweaking/adapting/moving on another.

The way this synth sets time up is so annoying, instead of:

1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32
1/1t, 1/2t, 1/4t, 1/8t, 1/16t, 1/32t
1/1d, 1/2d, 1/4d, 1/8d, 1/16d, 1/32d

it goes:

1/64
1/32
1/24

3/64
1/16
1/12

3/32
1/8
1/6

3/16
1/4
1/3

3/8
1/2
2/3

3/4
1/1
2/1

4/1
8/1
16/1

I'm literally typing all this out to try to understand the mapping back to what I understand so I'll have to add /64

normal - 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64
weirdos - 16/1,

normal - 1/1t, 1/2t, 1/4t, 1/8t, 1/16t, 1/32t, 1/64t
weirdos -

normal - 1/1d, 1/2d, 1/4d, 1/8d, 1/16d, 1/32d, 1/64d
weirdos -

thats as far as I can get, I don't get it? Would 8/1 be triplet or dotted?

@Kenny Saunders: I remember the system behind the Lexicon PCM42 delay. Perhaps that helps?

1/1 = 1/1
1/2 = 1/2
1/4 = 1/4
1/8 = 1/8
1/16 = 1/16
1/32 = 1/32
1/64 = 1/64

1/1t = 4/3
1/2t = 2/3
1/4t = 2/6
1/8t = 2/12
1/16t = 2/24
1/32t = 2/48
1/64t = 2/96

1/1d = 3/2
1/2d = 3/4
1/4d = 3/8
1/8d = 3/16
1/16d = 3/32
1/32d = 3/64
1/64d = 3/128

1/1 = 1/1
1/2 = 1/2
1/4 = 1/4
1/8 = 1/8
1/16 = 1/16
1/32 = 1/32
1/64 = 1/64

1/1t = 4/3
1/2t = 2/3
1/4t = 2/6
1/8t = 2/12
1/16t = 2/24
1/32t = 2/48
1/64t = 2/96

1/1d = 3/2
1/2d = 3/4
1/4d = 3/8
1/8d = 3/16
1/16d = 3/32
1/32d = 3/64
1/64d = 3/128
Thanks, but I think that's different again. The order I put them in is the order they are in in the delay dials. I literally had to use the slower 1/2 time and compare it by ear to any synth delay that I can understand so:

3/8 = 1/2t
1/2 = 1/2
2/3 = 1/2d

So the top is triplet the middle is standard, and the bottom one is dotted.

1/64
1/32
1/24

3/64
1/16
1/12

3/32
1/8
1/6

3/16
1/4
1/3

3/8 = 1/2t
1/2 = 1/2
2/3 = 1/2d

3/4
1/1
2/1

4/1
8/1
16/1

I'm sure that makes sense to the dev, but certainly not to me.

I've got a question. Is there a way to use a muted oscillator as a mod source? As far as I can tell, you have to have it up in the mixer or it won't work in the mod matrix.

IIRC at low levels in the mixer section it won’t pass the osc’s sound and can be used to modulate other targets.

Thanks. That’s a weird design, though. Don’t you think? Why not tap the oscillator directly?

Yeah I'm not sure why it's set up that way.
That may be a good question for vega555.

I've taken it out of consideration after finding out it doesn't respond to polyphonic aftertouch, which is a big deal for me. Sounds great, though.

Disappointing that the tab buttons for oscs, envs, fx, and eq are not midi readable, so this synth cant be used with control surfaces without constantly using the mouse.
