Yep, it doesn't work on my Athlon XP 2000+ too. The host just freezes. Tried in Cubase studio 4 and VSThost. Pity...

But when it come to mixing IMHO you will have plenty of more controls with CSR suite or ArtsAcoustic....

The great thing is that all three mentioned (or four if you count UAD plate) are all sounding different and very fine..

Question.. increasing damping will damp right channel much more agressively compared to left channel, shifting stereo image of the decay towards the left. With extreme damping you get extreme results, but it's relatively easily audible already with damping towards eleven o'clock (much earlier depending on the material) and I looked into spectrum analyzer to check if my right ear is just losing high frequency sensitively and it seems the channels aren't perfectly level at high frequencies even when damping is at minimum (though this isn't really audible)..
I wonder if this is the purpose, or if it's a bug?
edit: oh wait, it seems to be highly dependant on which early reflections are selected .. some are biased towards the right, some towards the left.. and some almost centered.. oh well.. I guess nevermind then..

Really great job Bootsie! this will get some use for sure. Now how about some tape delay and/or tape sim? I KNOW you are up to it

Yup, some ER's are more spread and not that centered. Use PLATE or ROOM1 for the most centered experience, I think it's briefly mentioned in the manual.mystran wrote:Question.. increasing damping will damp right channel much more agressively compared to left channel, shifting stereo image of the decay towards the left. Excellent that you have included a manual. You might need to remind some to use it. Perhaps a readmefirst.txt file that says as much. Shouldn't need to...but, you know how users can be.bootsie wrote:I think it's briefly mentioned in the manual.

I don't meant it like RTFM, the manual is really brief and I actually doubt that such things went out that clear at all. mystran went obviously really deep into details as he is a developer and this is of course not covered in the manual.eduardo_b wrote:Excellent that you have included a manual. However, I don't like to discuss such details in public, so if you are in need for more insights please contact me privatly.
Btw., I'm currently really shocked: In this two days after the release EV has got 3000 downloads, wow....
Thanks this way to mono_ton which is hosting my stuff on his server which seems to be stable after all
peace,
