The only question I have is, will Robert(mr. ElektricStudio) be making anymore plugs? With the DC looming in the future(fingers crossed) it'd be cool for him to enter some stuff.

D N A, are you just taking over the bug fixing? Or you and Robert collaberating for future projects? I just hope this talented dev hits us with more great freebies(or payware if that's his inclination). Besides, there plenty of other emu's too make or totally new stuff to bring to tha table.

Thx. Later :)

Add velocity sensivity option, otherwise they're not actually useable in genres like Rock!
Or I'm the only one?
Even in rock there is used many synth without velocity sensivity.
It depends on the usage. For example I cannot use the eSLine synth as a pad that plays the chords in the verse, because it will sound so artificial, even though I love its sound..
I think you'll find none of the machines modelled actually had velocity sensitivity... 8)

I've got to say I'm impressed as hell with these VSTis.

I think I'm not intended to make music that has already been done either. 8)

They should be present, at least as alternative versions.
I understand the people who want to have exact emulations of the old synths, but to limit the artist's capabilities because of the mindset of those people is something my mind will never accept!
Why my virtual synth has to have the exact same capabilities as my grandpa's hardware synth had?
Technology is present, having to choose between two alternatives costs nothing, so why don't you make a goddamn alternative version with extended features?

I like how the programmers make tools for the artists, and in the same time they limit the tools that are intended to be used as the medium of the artist's expression! :?

Unfortunately VSTJuNkiE, I will be on my own both with bug-fixing and future development. I mean, I'm communicating (by email) with Robert often and our emails are mostly huge walls of text :hihi: but currently it looks like Robert just wants to rest a little bit from vst development. Who knows, maybe he'll return to us some day (it doesnt look like but you never know :D)

But, I'll try to develop these synths the best I can. Right now everything overhelms me a little bit :D I got used to my Ableton Suite and now it seems that I need to setup my testing environment, including at least few DAWS. But I'm sure that I can handle it. Actually, I was in the middle of creating my own plugin (or to be more specific : about 10 % ready ;) ). After all, I don't like to fail ;)

So far, bugfixing is most important. The cycle will look like this:
1) bugfixing plugin x
2) releasing it as beta
3) waiting for responses (mainly for critical bugs "loudness noise" bugs, or some cpu peaks)
5) adding at least some small features
6) creating additional presets
7) release fully working version - at least without critical bugs
8) moving to next plugin ... ;)

Since I just made them, later on I could slightly remix or remaster them or leave them the way they are, depending on the direction the project will take.
Once again, a huge thank you to the developer!!!
Wow, nice :)
I'll let the Elektrostudio guy (his name's Robert) know about it.
Thanks, that be nice! :)

Yes, absolutely, that'd be an honor for me :)

I find this one very nice and fresh... Good job.
Thank you, I'm very glad you like it as it's a kind of track I really enjoy making, but I'm always afraid I'll be the only one to appreciate it, so thanks indeed again :)

http://www.d-os.org//Electrosound/oxygeneII.mp3

i used the following:
Rhytmus+Fazortan for the minipops7 rhythm part
Tapeotronic for the MTron choir
SXMJUNE for the delay-ed bassline
SXMJUNE for the sine 'flute' solo
SXMJUNE for the background sequence
ODSay for delay-ed s&h
ODSay for pink noise wind
MoonSonoSX for the LFO modulated hiQ noise

with the exception of the Fazortan, absolutely no others plugins were used.

apologies for any wrong-doings but i just did in an hour or so..
That's neat! :) It could be Jarre himself :)

Thank you to Elektrostudio for these great virtual instruments.

Ocet and Rhythmus impressed me the most! I like synthesized analog drums with a lot of controls! Rhythmus is cool because it lets you combine two or more auto-rhythms. Or2v also astonished me, especially the sequence presets. After 15 years+ I still like hearing that random computer business, although maybe much more controlled, it would sound more like those electronic music masters of the 1970s...

Peace to all. :)

Rhythmus is an exact MP7/UnivoxSR95 replica. the only timbral difference lies in the brightness of the vst's tambourine.

Don't take this the wrong way, but nice going in grabbing control of 10 free quality plugins - You must be very happy that worked out so well for you?
Quite a coup considering how well they went down with the kvr community.

A few questions:
How quickly are you working on fixing the phantom bugs?
Do two dodgy reports on kvr warrant the entire collection being withdrawn? Shouldn't it only be the 'affected' plugs held back?
By "adding at least some small features" Does this, or will this change the 'free' nature of these plugins.
And why do they even need additional features?

To maximize their usability! (velocity sensitivity! :hyper: )
Now, seriously, I would like to read opinions regarding my post above..

Here's a re-edit of my new track, I've posted earlier today, now using only ElektroStudio synths (bar Or2v and Ocet). No FX, only some EQ.

If you find any use in this spooky track, feel free to use as a demo etc.

PS: Please, don't add no 'new functionality for better usability'!

Is it some kind of hostile-friendly takeover ?
Why not simply put a warning "use at your own risks", bugs can happen in x hosts ...
I am wondering if the enhanced features will not eat more CPU ...
Most programmers have difficulties to read their own code so how long will it take you to move on ...
I must say , I am a bit sceptical on this one
:P
Let's see how the things will go :)
