demo feature perhaps??
I think the only demo restriction is that you can't save your presets... must be a bug.
can't save preset, can't load preset.....and it doesn't save its settings with the project  (as i learnt the hard way the other day while doing a little tune)
in any case the demo is fully functional otherwise ...gotta treat it as an analog synth ;P

anyway i'll buy it soon ...for 40$ i shouldn't even wait but i have a strict 1 week trial before buy policy . so a couple more days...

I was quite prepared to by it too, but this bug makes me glad I didn't.. will wait for it to be fixed I think.

Sounds like a good cure against GAS. :D

Here is a demo of both TAL Bassline versions

The demo is disappointing :-( I demoed it in OS X and my smile and eagerness disappeared after 10 mins! I don't know I think I just don't like the sound of it (although I love the sound of LuSh and NoiseMaker). It is not interesting whatever I tweak the slides. I hope they are just bugs (but I had the impression it just sounds like that).
I would preferred NoiseMaker II with more modulations and other additions. This is IMO a much better investment.

I demand this 101 clone sound more like a CS80. Most disappointing.

^ My post was being silly - absurd on purpose, sorry if that wasn't clear. As I've said elsewhere in the thread, I used to own a 101 and think this plugin is great!

Yes I thought so. For me, it means: Avoid Roland 'real' emulations!
so if you don't like it you'll also not like the real SH-101.

I'm sure of it now

So a couple of things I've noticed between the TAL-BassLine-101 and TAL-U-NO-LX.

* The bassline sounds brighter with the filters opened up all the way.
* The bassline consumers less CPU when used in poly mode and using the TAL chorus then on the TAL-U-NO-LX. Even when the patch settings are identical. What's that about.
