I passed on the White Rabbit as being more or less redundant (to me) currently, though it IS very very interesting. The Brinta however has really captured my imagination with several of its functions, as being quite unique, and easily integrated into my flow (as it were)... definitely on my list.elxsound wrote: Wed Apr 03, 2024 2:10 pm Did anyone here buy Error Instruments’ White Rabbit? Not that it’s available, but I was just curious how it stands up to other delays/reverbs.
I’m strongly considering buying Brinta

That’s what made me pass on it too, but the marketing and aesthetic always gets my attention.Shabdahbriah wrote: Thu Apr 04, 2024 1:26 pmI passed on the White Rabbit as being more or less redundant (to me) currently, though it IS very very interesting. Brinta, looks like it would fit nicely next to Morphagene as a real-time granular effect. I like what I’ve heard in their demos.
I’d love to get their Space Station too, but I don’t think it’s necessary to get the same sounds. It just would be very fun to mess with.

Seriously considering a Roland Integra-7. It's been on my radar for years, mostly for pianos and EPs, but also for its entire range and diversity. I nearly bought one a few months ago, but decided on a Dexibell SX7 instead, but I'm regretting that purchase now. The SX7 sounds great and I love the UI/workflow, but the storage space is ridiculously limited, so I'm thinking I might replace it with an Integra-7.

I want one too. But I'm on a tight budget right now...... I guess I'll have to keep waiting.

Damn Cinematic Laboratories. Such a f**king tease. Two Brintas, right next to Morphagene, with Strega as input and White Rabbit as the output.Shabdahbriah wrote: Thu Apr 04, 2024 1:26 pmI passed on the White Rabbit as being more or less redundant (to me) currently, though it IS very very interesting. Sounds amazing, but still think I can live without the reverb (whyterabbyt should have been offered that one for free).

Yeah, but then, Robert (CL) is the consummate class act with everything he posts (IMHO). I'm particularly intrigued by the 'chord' mode on this. Though I don't care about "stereo" (per se) the prospect of spending blissful countless hours with the 'hands-on' tweakeringness of Brinta is definitely one of those aspects that makes the urge to get two of them very very strong. As it is with the equally hands-on Behringer Bode 1630 Frequency Shifter. {sigh}elxsound wrote: Fri Apr 05, 2024 9:24 pmDamn Cinematic Laboratories. Such a f**king tease. Plus, the abundant CV control is fabulously appealing.
The Error dude has a tendency to do very limited runs, or just quit making stuff, so I hope it is around long enough to at least pick one up. It's sooo cool though, I think ultimately ~ it will be two, as I need to move (sell/trade) some things on, and "Granular" synthesis/effects are most definitely one of my tippytippy-top most joyful sound mangling happy-places.

been a slow year (actually been too busy with work)...so I've bought a behringer vintage delay pedal to replace an ibanez analog delay which decided to stop working after 40 years wtf!
Few days ago I saw an add banner here at kvr 30% off Cubase, so as upgrading to 13 was in my plans anyway I jumped on it, tax and all $75

Oh just ignore what he does with the Brinta(s) and check out what he does with Strega (particularly) and Morphagene.vurt wrote: Sat Apr 06, 2024 2:44 pm

No. Far be it from me. This is the Brinta video you should probably NOT watch though if you are prone to hearing some random internal seagulls saying *mine*, and acting on it, as if it were your own voice/thought/will.vurt wrote: Sat Apr 06, 2024 5:38 pmShabdahbriah wrote: Sat Apr 06, 2024 5:36 pmOh just ignore what he does with the Brinta(s) and check out what he does with Strega and Morphagene.vurt wrote: Sat Apr 06, 2024 2:44 pm

Well.. yes, if you inadvertently started that vids playback @2:20. Otherwise one would likely suffice for most people.

Brutal. Went from want to need.
EDIT: ordered.
Just 1 and I’m going to be okay with that because the R/L out. I like how it sounded via x-pan, but I don’t own that and its seems like tedious patching with two instead of having some fun with the results.
I picked it up with Lullaby which looks like fun. I’m hoping the novelty of having that doesn’t wear off too quickly.
Still want a Space Station
