just like to say i've received the ethnic drums dvd, and thank you very much, there are some lovely sounds on there. spending a fun time this evening loading up sampler vsti's and just playing

I got my package the day before yesterday...

And yes, it's a nice selection of instruments combined with good sample quality! Thumbs up!

However, it leaves the task sorting out the samples, but that's okay. It's just very handy to have a such a library laying round if you're in need of some specific percussion.

I had tons of fun last night, I loaded up FXPansion's Guru with sounds from the ethnic drum and percussion DVD. By varying the step length of the Guru engines I created fabulastic virtual world polyrhythms. GREAT, GREAT fun!

(Doru and Guru, even the names go together)

got 230 ethnic drums and Superdrums 8000 a few days ago. Good God, I won't use a fraction of those samples even in the next 40 years.

Hats off to you Doru for these products. I started a tune w/ vast layers of percussion, and I'm extremely pleased with the ethnic samples in 230 Ethnic Drums.

These samples are gonna get used A LOT, I guarantee ya.

I ordered and on Feb. 4 and got email confirmation on Feb. 4. My package came about a week later.

230EthnicDrums&Percussions(6400 one-shot sampls) -29 $ !
