Just realised I never responded to this, apologies. Nope, it's a confirmed bug in the VST3 version. The only way to avoid it is using the VST2 version or waiting for the next update I'm afraid.Shampun wrote: Fri Apr 05, 2024 12:31 pmThe same problem. All parameters show the value "C". Did you manage to solve it without using VST2?fgimian wrote: Wed Nov 29, 2023 10:42 am Also sent a bug report regarding the VST3 version. All parameters show the value "C" in Cubase no matter what value the parameter is set to. The automation does get read at least, but it is impossible to see or type the value on the arrange page. This all works OK on the VST2 version.
I'm a bit surprised how long it's taken to get this fixed if I'm being honest, but looks like an upcoming is coming soon based on the recent update in this thread.

Will Spire AI be paid upgrade or some kind of subscription?

Well let's hope it's nothing like synplant 2. That is an overrated piece of crap tbh.. Nothing I've thrown at it has worked. Every single sample ends up sounding like metallic fm noise.
Let's hope it's much much better than synplant. Thanks.

I've enjoyed making Synplant presets, and I like it. It does have limitations, and it cannot do much with samples that have harmony in it. Playing with any preset on the seed tree is fun and can be productive, but it's much a process of chance and discovery. I imagine the same will be said for Spire AI. You will have to wade through some crap results to find great sounds (that's pretty much my moto, though).
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Yea, let the AI learn all the knobs an sliders on a synt and do the job for us. And since we are already in the mood, lets
put the AI into any DAW and let it compose music like AI is creating pictures everywhere on the net with just a few words.
And then let us call our self composers and musicians and be proud about what "we" composed.
He, why not let it learn how to raise our children and how to make our wife or husband happy insted of us.
AI is the end of real creation
Wake up.

Ai isn't the end of anything. It's the beginning of something. It's just a tool, and we're all gonna be using it within 10 years.
Currently it's great for making dead people sing but it still can't create a patch from a sample properly.
Maybe it can write a symphony though, but tbh, no humans are writing symphonies anymore.

It can't do anything with samples period. Everything turns out to be fm noise. And iirc the engine is a 2 operator fm synth. Which would explain everything sounding like fm noise.Dirtgrain wrote: Fri Aug 16, 2024 4:38 pm I've enjoyed making Synplant presets, and I like it. Is this a bad use of AI ? Think of all the free time you would have to do more fun thingsclassic wrote: Fri Aug 16, 2024 4:49 pm why not let it learn how to raise our children and how to make our wife or husband happy insted of us.
