Not cool, buddy.

Why not just try it yourself. :?

Think we know the answer.

@mods, don't you think its time to close or rename the thread now that someone is even pushing some random ass code as a "Vital update" ?

Post

Why? Its still about Vital…

Post

This topic is vital enough to stay here 4eva.

poor Matt

no good deed goes unpunished

Post

Yeah, that's AI slop. It's also a trademark infringement.

Hm, since it's Open Source, you're probably allowed to fork it like this. Unfortunately Matt never published the most recent source code, so a fork would actually miss current Vital features. I'm suspecting this is also the reason why the project wasn't really taken up by the Open Source community when Matt disappeared on it

How long has it been since we last heard from Matt?

Ok, enough of this silly talk here.
Here's a serious question:
IN Reaper when I open the CLAP version of Vital
In 'Text to wavetable' I can't insert spaces,
but
when I open the vsti3 version of Vital I can insert spaces without problem.
Why is this?

Try "Send all keyboard input to plug-in" (in the "+" menu)

That works! Thanks!

Putting aside that the whole repo is a giant hallucination, you are not allowed to use the name Vital in a fork. That's part of the terms.

Hi,
The envelope 1 is a "master envelope" for the other envelopes. So its not possible to have, for example, a quick attack from envelope 2 to the Vol of OSC2 when the envelope 1 has a slow attack. Apart from reversing the roles of the envelopes, can this be remedied?
And is there a reason for this master role to envelope 1?

Use one of the lfos in env mode
