I found some wow at -600db on my freebie spectrum analyzer software I run on my first-gen iPad.
Amazing how they do that, with no tape heads involved!

I know, I’m sorry. You must be a member of the post-language generation? I’d upload a pic but i don’t know how. I hear there are comic books out there that will do that for you, though.

A director I used to work with met some relative (iirc, a son) of his in Berlin and called me like in middle of night "GUESS WHO I MET" and also about how they gave him the permission to use any of stockhausen recordings for his dance company (whatever that permission means in practice, I have no idea)agharta wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2019 7:25 pmWell he was the first Kontakte user so his opinion would be worth something!highkoo wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2019 7:16 pmYa, and for some reason people are quicker to fault a random user for stumbling around trying to figure out wtf is going than the beloved NI for leaving us sitting with this mess.
Its really coming off like some form of Stockhausen Syndrome to me.![]()
What I still can't figure out is why did he think I cared at all let alone so much that I want to be disturbed in middle of night about this. Great, you met some relative of an acousmatic composer. Like dude, I'm 25 (I think I was 25 back then), our generation doesn't care about acousmatic composers and neither do I regardless of the fact that I can appreciate their contribution to developments of music technology
But eh, the director was an ass anyway
