I found a crash, simple and reliable to reproduce every time.

in what circumstances did they disappear? After saving and loading, or when applying variations?

BTW there are collapse/expand buttons added to variations, as well as a mute/unmute button that lets you easily turn off variations, and turn them back on:

Anyone else having issues with phrases disappearing?

After apply variations, but, then deleting the phrase from the track.. Then, if I drop a new phrase down, it stays for about 2 seconds, then vanishes. At one point, it felt like I was trying to grab my right hand thumb with my left hand.. (as you fold your thumb down) lol.. was funny.. ya had to be there, I guess..

RapidComposer v3.9b29 is available!

Improvements:

• 'Rhythm' has a separate tab in the phrase inspector
• 'Start playback from timeline selection' and 'Stop playback at the end of timeline selection' added in the playback settings (right-click on PLAY)
• 'Snap playback position to nearest beat when stopped' moved from Settings to playback options
• 'When Playback Stops Jump To Playback Start Position' removed from Settings (same as 'Return To Start On Stop')
• Variations can be muted/unmuted, and collapsed/expanded
• Lists under Settings remember their collapsed/expanded state
• Lists under Settings have 'collapse all', 'expand all' buttons
• Fixed: 'Save Rhythm To Library' opened at the top left corner
• Fixed: Rhythm Processing incorrectly regenerated the rhythm

Hi again,

I'm observing cases where playback proceeds thru the loop area and continues out the right side rather than looping, even though 'Loop Playback' is highlighted.

I know we have several new options now re: the playback head, but regardless of other settings, I suggest that when 'Loop Playback' is highlighted there should never be a failure to loop once the playback head enters the loop area.

Actually, at this point, it seems that loop playback no longer works at all.

IOW, once it fails once, it is as if it had been disabled globally via a setting. (very strange, I know)

I tried to drag the rhythm from the browser to the phrase and it seems to me that it doesn't work either

right click the play button and turn on "start play back at timeline selection" and "Stop Play back at timeline selection"..
