also did a slight variation with some final lighting touchups on the foot pedals (it seems much easier on the eye to me):

Hey, I learned wtf a png was just in time.
Amazing what you can learn at kvr between coltish homoerotic five-play.

that looks great grymmjack!

yea, the contrast on those stomps dilineates them nicely and is kinder on the eyes here.

I love it!

Is this a possibilty - have pedals that are disabled greyed out? sort of desaturated i mean....

Hrm. Desaturated how much?

Post

here, take a look at this matt;

thats about the amount - but i meant only desat them if there not enabled, like so if you turn off the led pedal for a specific one it desats...u can still tweak the knobs and stuff - and if you turn it back on it resaturates...

is that viable?

oh yes! Much more pleasing to my eye. Desat is the way to go.

Also, feel free to pilfer through the files I've created and make use of whatever.

i reckon http://www.funklabs.org/share/freeamp_d ... ghtmod.png is the best yet - i wouldnt want all of the pedals to be as desaturated as in http://www.funklabs.org/share/freeamp_desat.png , only disabled ones.

Okay, last one:

I like this one better. It has more differentiation between gate/tubearea/trem, and the removal of the intense lighting effects and slight desaturation makes it easier on my eye.

Ok that's the last for today.

whatever u decide - they all look pretty damn nice :D

tho i think ur right - that last one is a good balance between the desat and sat versions....

Post

Okay, I lied.

This is the final. Made all the labels less intense, it seems to help as well. I think this is much better.

Sorry to keep bothering like this, I just am very picky. :)

@matt; check demo4, I think it's much less intense and in your face. Feels generally better balance, I can't quite put my finger on it, I think it's combination of all these final touches.

:D freeamp_demo3_var :D

Thats the one! Great job! guess I have some living up to, with graphics that pretty. Will do my best to make all the new stuff added match the quality of what you (Grymmjack) have done for FreeAmpSE's UI.
